Seems like the reasonable thing to do, especially the ones with stones. I have taken off mine Smile

Yes, I took off all my jewellery last week. It’s much easier to thoroughly wash hands

UYScuti · 15/03/2020 19:04

ummm?
sure, but why?

Splitsunrise · 15/03/2020 19:05

yes I have

Wannabangbang · 15/03/2020 19:05

They are germ magnets aren't they

GrumpyHoonMain · 15/03/2020 19:05

Yes I would. Easier to clean and if you do need to be admitted to hospital then there’s nothing for anyone to lose or steal

HappyHammy · 15/03/2020 19:05

Yes. This is why health staff are bare below the elbows so they can wash their hands properly.

UYScuti · 15/03/2020 19:06

ah, comprende!
I dont wear much in the way of rings but I'd imagine they are not exactly conducive to optimal hand hygiene so yes this seems like a good measure to take :)

TheLovleyChebbyMcGee · 15/03/2020 19:07

I've not, but I only wear a plain gold wedding band. I work in microbiology so I'm used to washing my hands thoroughly and always wash under it, many times a day.

Should point out, the NHS dress code allows a plain band worn by all staff, I stick to it, by some of my co-workers don't. More fool them I reckon!
