Over 70s self isolation...

If this does come into play, I've read people with no symptoms can visit over 70s as long as they stay two meters away.

Worry I have atm is this, DH, myself and DD have my parents living with us.

Would we also have to self isolate? Seems pointless for my parents to be doing so just for DH to be going into work, coming home. Interacting with me and DD (even if he keeps distance from them) and then us coming into close quarters with them.

As adults we can manage to control a two meters situation, but dd is only a toddler and naturally would end up running between us all effectively potentionally passing it on (if he got it) .

How would something like that be managed?

Both my parents are immune compromised as well as being mid 70s. So naturally are on the higher end of the risk.

I don't know the answer but there will be loads of families in your situation. I think you just carry on as best you can.

That was my thinking, it's not like life can completely stop.

I have diagnosed anxiety so likely it isn't helping. But the thought of DH coming home and infecting them/us losing them through that is terrifying to me. More so than the prospect of me having to give birth at home with no midwife IF it meant a complete lockdown!
