Cough into a tissue and then bin it....how many tissues can one person reasonably carry? If you're coughing every couple of minutes?

Sorry, I may be descending into paranoid overthinking here Blush

I have "a cough". No fever, just a bit of an under the weather feeling. Under the new rules, I'm supposed to stay in the house and stay 2 metres away from my family members. The 2 metres thing is pretty facile, as the studies I've seen from China etc suggest that the virus can travel in the air a good deal further than that - but OK, we'll follow the NHS advice. So when I cough, am I supposed to cough into a tissue and bin it, every single time? I would be getting through an entire rainforest every couple of hours Confused. What about people who are out and about, who suddenly acquire a cough? Is everybody supposed to carry a sack of tissues around with them?

You don't need to worry about how many tissues to carry while out. You should be self isolating

Yes, I realise that, and I am. But people WILL be out and about when they start coughing, won't they? People, with the best will in the world, will cough in public.
