Has anyone heard what is likely to happen with GCSE and A Level exams. The peak infection is scheduled to hit exactly the same time as students are due to take exams. Apart from the effects of the illness on students trying to take exams when sick - invigilators may be ill, schools may be shut and revision curtailed. What do you think will happen??

Dd has been stressing about this. She said her school have set up teams so they can do skype lessons if needed.

I also have a DS that is worried about this his A levels are scheduled for exactly 11 weeks time. He may be sick, his teachers may be sick, the invigilators may be sick, his college may be shut - what are they going to do? Go on predicted grades??

My DD is doing A-levels too. It is a real worry.

If that happens, there will be a plan. No point stressing about it now.

I know this is all new and unprecedented but it would be good to know what the plans might be so the kids can plan accordingly and feel prepared. I also know that the nations health is more important than exams but exam season is stressful enough without this uncertainty as well.

Easier said than done but don’t worry, you worrying won’t change anything, just wait and see, we may all have bigger fish to fry than exams.
