DH has cancer. It's ok at the minute but he does have a lower immune system and would be considered high risk.

Despite being able to wfh competently his work are not allowing it. Does he have any right to insist on wfh?

That’s pretty shitty, that it’s possible but still not allowed!

Can’t find a lot of info, best is macmillan.

I know cancer is classed as a disability under DDAct, so reasonable adjustments should be made.

I think we have entered uncharted territories with the current situation, so might take a while for companies to act. Would like to think a common sense approach would work, but obvs not Angry.

My DH is undergoing immunotherapy for cancer atm. He has been banned from going into London for meetings, and has a separate room in a local office which is locked - only he is allowed to use. Works from home a lot, and would be allowed to do completely if he wanted to. All put in place without him having to ask.

Is it a large company your DH works for?

It is a big company. I want him to go back to HR on Monday.
