What’s the sensible approach to elderly/immune compromised relatives?

Just thinking about specific family members and the fact that the illness can incubate for a number of days before being symptomatic...

Dp suggests we should not be visiting elderly relatives but are we a risk to them when we don’t have any symptoms, nor do the dc and we haven’t a) been in contact with any cases as far as were aware and b) haven’t been abroad?

With yesterday’s press release stating were about 4wks behind Italy and 14-16wks till it peaks, what’s the sensible approach? Distancing ourselves from relatives for the next 4-5months seems a bit Ott...

Also in regards to them saying yesterday that were 4wks behind Italy-do you think that takes into account Italy imposing lockdowns, school closures etc, as obviously we are not taking any such measures...?
Surely we’ll be much less than 4wks behind as we’re not doing anything other than voluntary self isolation?
