Social distancing - anyone doing it?

This is not meant to be a debate about whether we should, but for those who HAVE made the decision to isolate/social distance.

We are in a position to work from home and keep our two kids home. I have reduced immunity and lung damage due to treatment for blood cancer last year so I understand I'm at risk with this virus, but also, it seems countries who are employing a social distancing model to help deal with this are more successful at "flattening the curve". It seems if we as a family are fortunate enough to choose to stay home, we should.

I spent a good 9 months last year in isolation due to having no immune system during chemotherapy, so I know how I can handle it! But if anyone else is doing the same, maybe we could share tips on working from home/staying sane and juggling the kids and their school work and keeping them happy?

common sense media has some links and apps that might be useful with the dc at home.

I'm on maternity leave and my DP was made redundant before Christmas, so we are able to stay home (though very concerned for our future financially).

Our in laws just texted us today that they have coughs and are self isolating.

We've made the decision to stay indoors as much as possible. We may continue to take short walks with the baby, but we will avoid other people for the foreseeable future.

We are not sick (I have a snotty cold but no cough or temperature), and I want to keep it that way as long as possible.

My PIL's are self isolating as both have cold symptoms. I don't think it's Corona as neither of them have coughs or fevers but they're elderly so doing as much as they can to stay safe.

DH and I are self employed so it's business as usual unless either of us have symptoms. Luckily we have enough enough money behind us that we can self-isolate if necessary. I know many aren't as fortunate.

Sort of. We're both retired now. I have been out today to go to Waitrose, and DH has been for his run. But apart from that, we aren't going out. I've cancelled my gym sessions (with a PT) this weekend, as well as a language class I would normally have tomorrow. We had three social events for next week, which we have also cancelled.

Not sure how long we'll go on like this, but for now it seems to make sense, and makes me feel happier knowing we're not going anywhere or seeing anyone.

I am only doing what I absolutely have to.
Going to work, supermarket shop etc with extra handwashing etc.
Anything just for pleasure I've cancelled. No events, no cinema or eating out etc.
