tips on coping with quarantine

Schools and colleges in Ireland are being shut For 2 weeks. I have teenagers who will live on screens and in bed unless otherwise inspired so I am going to try and establish a routine for us all.

I'm thinking up at 9am, walk the dog at 10am. Homework for two hours (they were given this a few days ago in anticipation of a shutdown). Lunch. Free time, then walk the dog again before cooking dinner (taking turns, that will be interesting).

I expect objections all the way but I'm hoping to make something of this if we don't, or until we do, get sick.

Any other ideas? My teens are typical in that they will need to be pushed all the way.
Learn a new skill? Paint the house?

Have you a garden that could be tended to? I have plans to redecorate my son's bedroom when schools here shut down, and have a rid out of unused toys.

Have you any old board games? It’s annoying but it might be a nice blessing in disguise to force some family time.
Could you use it to your advantage and get some much needed chores done (cleaning rooms/loft/old rooms) and maybe offer a reward at the end of the quarantine.
Good luck!
