We are very lucky. DH can work from home and is in a secure public sector job. I am a carer for our 12-year-old who has autism and special needs so will be able to look after him at home if / when schools shut. DD is in year 10 and has some GCSEs coming up ........not sure what is going to happen there! It's not the end of the world if they have to be done later in the year.
Financially we are ok but so many of our friends and extended family are in vulnerable positions - self-employed/working in hospitality etc.
My biggest worry is for my parents and in-laws who are all in their late 70s and 80s..........3 out of 4 have serious health conditions which make them very vulnerable.

My biggest concern is my Y11 and Y13 DCs. The thought of postponing exams and having to carry on with revision until.... when is not good. Consequent delayed to starts to A level courses and Uni places is not ideal either.

DH can work from home, I do anyway.

Both have elderly mothers, one with asthma, but otherwise both are relatively fit and healthy, although both are busier than I am and frequently out and about in the community doing 'good works'. Infection risk fairly high I would think...

Dh is self employed and employs 11 people. If we have to close, his customers could go elsewhere and cause catastrophic consequences for what happens after this has all panned out.
My mum has a lung condition and would be very likely to die should she catch it (so I'm avoiding her to be on the safe side) my dad is 70 and healthy but, who knows. Dhs parents both over 70 and one has recently had cancer, so again- no idea what it means for them.

Dh works from home already, I work in a school. Oldest Ds works in an office so I don't know if they have any plans yet.

Youngest Ds is taking his gcses. He's autistic and year 11 has been a difficult one so I'm already worried about him. He was participating in a camp with the National Autistic Society at Easter which has been cancelled because of coronavirus.

So at the moment not a huge impact on us but who knows what the next few weeks will bring.
