OP posts:
iwanttoshakesomeppl · 12/03/2020 06:57

My parents and my aunt who lives alone.

CathyandHeathcliff · 12/03/2020 06:57

My in laws who are 69 and my parents, although younger (56 and 60) my dad has AF (heart condition)

PurpleDaisies · 12/03/2020 06:59

My in laws because they are planning to isolate themselves from society for three months. I’m not worried about them actually catching it.

devildeepbluesea · 12/03/2020 07:00

My dad, 72, just finished cancer treatment. He is on the whole very well, but if anyone in my family is immuno compromised it's him.

Ffsnosexallowed · 12/03/2020 07:00

About the thousands of people who are being supported to live independently by social care, who won't be able to self isolate because they can't care for themselves.

TwilightPeace · 12/03/2020 07:01

My 35 year old brother who is currently going through chemo.
My 66 year old mother who is caring for him.
My 66 year old dad who has numerous health issues.
Oh, and the 33 residents in the care home I work in.

WhatsMyNewNameAgain · 12/03/2020 07:01

FIL who only has 30% lung capacity. He is not worried though 🤷‍♀️ Also my parents, MIL and other elderly relatives.

Not worried about DS fortunately as I know that no children aged 0-9 have died.

Purplewhitelie · 12/03/2020 07:12

My kids at school with asthma. They also have another serious rare genetic condition.

Myself I have a heart problem and many other things too outing to say.

My parents. My dad is nearly 80 but looks and acts like he is 60. My mother who again in her 70s looks and acts a lot younger but will be at risk. Both have minor heart problems but live like they were 30.

My mother in law has diabetes and is currently in hospital with pneumonia.

I could go on!

Purplewhitelie · 12/03/2020 07:16

Yes and also one of my kids at school is worried she will pass it to us.

OrangeSamphire · 12/03/2020 07:16

My son. He is disabled and has associated health conditions that mean a respiratory illness like this could be fatal for him.

He’s 9. And exposed to multiple other children in society whose parents are both worried’ because ‘children’ don’t get it seriously.

OrangeSamphire · 12/03/2020 07:17

‘Not worried’ not ‘both worried’!

Iremembertheelderlykoreanlady · 12/03/2020 07:20

My dad - 72 diabetes and high blood pressure (although both well controlled)

My mum as she's in her.mid 60s but other than that she's the fittest person I know so hopefully should be fine

Me as I have asthma and severe health anxiety

OH mid 40s has diabetes and high blood pressure, not well controlled

DS - because he may lose people he loves

ceeveebee · 12/03/2020 07:21

My cousin who had a bone marrow transplant a couple of years ago
My son’s friend who is immunosuppressed
People who live hand to mouth, who rely on foodbanks or who are homeless

TheMemoryLingers · 12/03/2020 07:27

Like everyone else - my elderly parents (mum is asthmatic).

My sister - also asthmatic, has been hospitalised a couple of times.

My husband (who is no spring chicken)

MIL - in her 80s

I keep having 'what if I'm the only one left?' thoughts. Also, if I should die too, what will happen to all our animals?

Honeybee85 · 12/03/2020 07:28

My nearly 93 year old grandmother who lives in a retirement home. The sweet elderly neighbor from around the corner who is at least in her 70s.

TeddyIsaHe · 12/03/2020 07:30

My sister with severe asthma - who is flying to Marrakech today which I personally think is insanity.

My grandma with a lung condition in her late 70’s.

Sucksfake1 · 12/03/2020 07:34

My DS he has chronic lung disease.

He's 2 years old.

BadCatDirtyCat · 12/03/2020 07:36

Parents (70s), MIL (80s) and immunosuppressed DP Sad

Also me and my unborn baby... Even if baby isn't affected by me catching it, the affect of DP catching it and either dying (please God no) or it sending him into another flare up of his chronic illness would have a huge impact on us all.

IceColdCat · 12/03/2020 07:43

My dad is 83 and has asthma. But the one I'm really worried about is my friend's DS age 15 who had cancer treatment last year and is immuno suppressed. They've had such a hell of a time already Sad

Elladisenchanted · 12/03/2020 07:44

My over 90 year old grandma, and my late 70s other grandparents because of underlying health conditions. My late teens cousin who has a heart transplant. My parents.

ineedaholidaynow · 12/03/2020 07:45

DM and FIL especially.

Hoping that they are right about it not affecting the young too badly as would hate DC to have it.

pigdogridesagain · 12/03/2020 07:45

My Nan who's 80 and my youngest DC who has asthma.

Bluewater1 · 12/03/2020 07:45

The elderly and those who are immunosuppressed

Seventyone72seventy3 · 12/03/2020 07:46

My DM in her 80s. I am also worried that my DS10 is going to go stir crazy. He normally does a lot of sport and it has all been cancelled.

NeverTwerkNaked · 12/03/2020 07:52

All my family and friends. The latest news out of Italy indicates it isn't " just" the elderly or those with underlying conditions who are affected seriously

DC, their dad is abusive and I am going through the courts but if I died I expect they would be livinf with him and he would cut them off from all my family Sad
