Should we be concerned about increased risk from lodger?

My Partner and I have discussed whether we should be concerned about an increased coronavirus risk from our lodger. We let a room in our house Monday to Friday. She flies from another part of the country on a Monday, and flies home on a Friday. She picks up a hire car every Monday to use for the week.

We are in our forties, neither of us are at particular risk we don’t think, although I seem to have a weakened immune system and susceptibility to chest issues since having pneumonia a couple of years ago. Neither of us have been particularly concerned about ourselves, but more worried about close family who are aged 70 and 80, although both in reasonable health, as well as the more general concern of not wanting to spread the virus, and the impact on life/society in general.

We have an informal arrangement with the lodger so terminating the arrangement wouldn’t be a problem, however the financial impact would be fairly significant. We don’t need the income to live on a monthly basis, but it’s a huge help in building our savings. My Partner is the much higher earner but his company are struggling and expect to be heavily impacted by Coronavirus, and so his job may not exist in a few months, therefore savings are important.

Does it seem like the circumstances of our lodger (twice weekly air travel, using hire cars) is significantly increasing the risk in our home, and we would be wise to end the arrangement, or is even thinking about this a complete over-reaction? In all other ways we're going about our lives completely normally (ie work, using public transport daily). I really don’t know what to think.
