Ten pin bowling - high risk?

I run a social group for adults with learning disabilities - many of whom are vulnerable health-wise. We live in a county (in UK) that has had two coronavirus tested so far but obviously we don't know the exact locations.
Sharing bowling balls would seem to be pretty high risk for passing infection. I don't want to overreact or make our members more concerned than they should be but wondering if we should cancel or make other arrangements (meal out etc). Or is it enough to wash hands before the session and be vigilant about coughing etc - due to their disabilities some member are struggling with the catch it, bin it process. Have also thought of using hand sanitizers after each go but maybe that's a little excessive! I will of course be discussing this with my colleagues but any thoughts welcome.

I'm wondering about this too. My son due to do this and go-karting this weekend (communal helmet use etc). Not very happy about it but not sure if I'm over-reacting or not (have form for that).

You'll probably find most places are being much more strict on hygiene and cleanliness at the moment. Stick to good hand hygiene and I can't imagine you're massively at risk.
