Was it Seyed Mohammad Marandi by any chance?
I’ve seen Piers Morgan interviewing him once, he seemed like a thoroughly unpleasant character, smirking and grinning all the way.

I didn’t catch the man’s name. He was a professor in Iran I think. Even the interviewer was a bit taken a back with his reign of fire rhetoric, on us too in the U.K.

The horror of the regime is simply not brought up by left wing right on journalists.....looking at you Owen Jones. There is narrative being pushed in the media that the regime is somehow a victim and people are quick to bring up international law when a terror regime has no respect at all of human rights.

It’s horrific. Have friends paralysed with fear with no word from families now for weeks. The brutality of the regime and the bombs all around. What hell has been wrought.
