ITV News is not normally allowed to enter the territory but were invited in by Israeli forces and allowed to film under military direction.

The footage and commentary is interesting.

The narrative covers many points, including the admission by the IDF that they had underestimated the underground tunnel network by labelling it "the metro". Now they believe it is more comparable to an underground city than the Paris metro or London underground.

Thanks.

That will be an interesting watch. I wonder what they will do with them. Naturally, terrorists shouldn't use them again. Very difficult to defeat terrorists who.move around underground and pop up anywhere. I've seen programmes before on the extensive nature if the tunnels.

Israel are saying the tunnels must be destroyed before reconstruction can begin.

An IDF spokesperson told NBC news that there could be anywhere from 300 to 600 miles of tunnels underneath the enclave.

Makes sense, However between 300 to 600 miles of tunnels is a huge amount.

I know @Ihatetomatoes and they are still discovering more all the time.

I don't honestly know how reconstruction is feasible with this in mind.
