Tommy Robinson in Israel

Just watched the Channel Four coverage of his rally in Tel Aviv. Well he’s a far right thug so probably adored by the Government there. His behaviour and that of his vile possie towards the channel 4 journalist Lindsay Hilsom was typically aggressive. I wouldn’t want him on my side about anything I have to say! Who would want to be associated with him?!

Corbyn invites Hamas and Hezbollah to tea in Parliament, someone from the Israeli government invites Tommy Robinson to visit. What jewels of our respective cultures.

Both vile, agreed. Though I would suggest that at this point YL is of far less significance than Hezbollah and Hamas who had plenty of actual blood on their hands. Lets not big up the significance of YL.

soupyspoon · 19/10/2025 21:35

Exactly, some no mark like YL yakking on gets the frothers frothing but Hamas leaders strutting their stuff about and not one mention of them, not one outrage, not one march or 'protest' focuses on that. Why is that?

No, indeed Corbyn's mistake was the far greater there, as Robinson is a merely a thug not a terrorist.

Both Robinson and Hamas have racists turning out on the streets of the UK to march in their support though, with both sides thinking of themselves as the good guys.

CrossChecking · 19/10/2025 22:30

It's just a case of racists unite isn't it? I don't think anyone expects any more from a state that has been carrying out racial segregation for decades. The West Bank is Tommy Robinsons wet dream, Muslims literally second class citizens, beaten, killed and kept in cages.

stomachamelon · 19/10/2025 22:47

@CrossChecking you can try and draw as many parallels as you like but unless you have been repeatedly attacked by your neighbours who rejoice in your murder in unison with others and then another country who purports to be a beacon against racism, violence and antisemitism joins in and shows support and hatred towards you the hosting of some small fry oik means nothing.

The boiling point that is the uk is seen as no friend of Israel by its actions. Getting one over on starmer by hosting is posturing Willy waving.

And when you make sweeping generalisations like ‘racist unite’ make sure ’ to add government hurriedly as a large proportion of the Israeli population have been asking for the war to stop.

You are just as bad as the all Muslim…. All Islamist crew. No sense of nuance nor respect for peoples pain and suffering unless it fits your agenda.

Very well said.

stomachamelon · 19/10/2025 23:05

All this fantasising about what Tommy Robinson does and doesn’t want is a repetition for you and a bit of a strange preoccupation.

Who’s the ‘we’ that are waiting? A large segment are Arab Israelis perhaps they don’t see it like that.

I would envisage he doesn’t need to go to israel for that the way things are at the moment in the uk and the way opinion polls look. Surely that’s more worrying to you?

SharonEllis · 19/10/2025 19:02

Well not the Board of Deputies or the Jewish Leadership Council in the UK, or any Jewish person I know for that matter.

You're wrong there. A lot of British Jews travelled from the UK to be at his rally. The haterd that Tommy Robinson and the crowd we're showing towards Muslims was sheer hatred and frightening how so many Jews are far right in their views

noblegiraffe · 20/10/2025 21:53

What are you on about? Tommy's rally was in the UK so why would they travel from the UK? British Jews specifically said they didn't want Robinson at their rally.

Have you got any evidence for whatever it is you're trying to claim?

No, I am correct that the BoD, the JLC condemns him and I don't know any Jewish person that would associate with him.

'Many' whatever that means.

SharonEllis · 20/10/2025 22:11

Maccabi Tel Aviv has just announced it won't sell tickets to their supporters because they don't want to be associated with Tommy Robinson who is planning to go to the match with his thugs.

stomachamelon · 20/10/2025 22:13

Prove it. I am sure the home office would love to confirm just how many Jews returned to Israel just to hear Tommy Robinson when they could have gone to London. Just how many?

You do realise English is spoken fairly widely.

stomachamelon · 20/10/2025 22:14

@SharonEllis have just posted their statement on other thread.

noblegiraffe · 20/10/2025 22:36

I watched the clip. Some people with British accents were interviewed, but none of them said that they had travelled to Israel to listen to Tommy Robinson.

There has been a surge in British Jews emigrating to Israel, so my assumption would be that they already lived in Israel rather than travelling there to see Tommy when they could see him in the UK.

stomachamelon · 20/10/2025 22:38

@noblegiraffe I wonder why? Hmm

Futurehopeful · 20/10/2025 22:41

Tommy Robinson is a true british patriot and sees the mainstream biased press for what they are, and that is utter propaganda. He has been calling this out fir years and probably has more positive reviews on his journalism than any of the rest. God bless and keep him safe

noblegiraffe · 20/10/2025 22:43

The Channel 4 segment accurately pointed out that Tommy Robinson is trying to 'Jew-wash' his hatred of Muslims by wrapping it up in support for Israel.

Exactly why so many Jewish community leaders and grassroots have consistently told him to f off. They can tell when someone is using them.

noblegiraffe · 21/10/2025 11:55

"We are also concerned about the intervention of divisive figures who do not represent the values of our Club. We condemn all abhorrent views that have no place in football."

From the Maccabi club statement which is clearly about Tommy Robinson. Another set of Jews condemning him then.
