Hello everyone,

Can anyone recommand some good books about the situation in Gaza ?
Preferably first-hand accounts - that's always more reliable and specific than second-hand testimonies.
Are there even such books ? As people there probably are more worried about survival than literature right now.
I had a look on amazon and found a few but not sure where to start or which to start with, so I'm keen on any recommandations.

Apologies if there was already a thread, I didn't see it if so.

'but with the unwavering commitment that leads him to make his very last act throwing a stick at a drone'

Yes such commitment! Confused. Or, another way to put it would be futile which sums up hamas' launching a war in the first place.

Also no mention of the money he'd accumulated along with someone's unwra ID as he fled the warzone to join his family in Turkey and left the shitstorm he instigated for others to face. Yarafat did similar in Lebanon.

Stunning & brave?

Wow, @MNHQ deleted the post referencing the novel.

So you'll have to hunt for the novel yourself @Gloriia to find out why he believes actions perceived as futile are worth taking.

@quantumbutterfly, Sinwar died in Gaza. Israel offered him and his family "safe" passage to Egypt but he refused to leave. He died with an empty stomach and a packet of mints in his pocket.

Gosh, I wonder why they would have done that?

Pride of place on the shelf at yours alongside Mein Kampf?

What a hero you seem to think he is. He may have died with just a pack mints in his pocket but I wonder where all his offshore millions are?

You know supporting the proscribed terrorist organisation that he was the leader of is illegal right?

And a shitload of blood on his hands. May he rot.

'Cardboard bad'? What a very simplistic comment. It isn't the cardboard that is 'bad' is it supporting a terrorist organisation that is 'illegal'. No matter if a 'little old lady or a vicar' you still cannot break the law. It's the same with all crimes youll find.

No one supports 'shooting babies in the head'. We all agree Oct 7th was horrific but thankfully hamas are slowly but surely getting annihilated so that's good.
