"Without doubt" Israel has committed war crimes"

I wonder if he feels guilty now for all the times he denied Israel had committed war crimes, when he knew all along he was lying and they had and continue to do so.

I would like to think he does but I highly doubt it.

• It was "without a doubt true that Israel has committed war crimes";
• That Israeli soldiers were not being "held accountable";

Former Biden official Matthew Miller Israel has 'without doubt' committed war crimes in Gaza

In a wide-ranging interview for Sky News' Trump 100 podcast, Matthew Miller also said if he was "outside of government" he would have preferred a "better candidate" for the 2024 presidential election than Mr Biden.

Belle that’s reminded me of that terrible scene playing out as she was on the phone crying for help and hiding..

disgusting and inhumane

Absolutely, unfortunately it's one of so many inhumane incidents.

At least we know her name there are thousands of children whose names we will never "know" without purposefully searching the lists as the BBC would say "released by the Hamas backed Gaza Health ministry". They can't even give them dignity in death.

May these babies rest in peace ❤️💐.

Are the hostages all free yet? Are the war crimes committed by Hamas being held to scrutiny? I see taht more weapons caches are still being cleared by Israel. Are Hamas still shooting Palestinians who dare to get food for free from aid agencies as opposed to paying Hamas for what is being shipped FOC over the border and being hoarded by them? Just asking

Whst has any of that got to do with the children having their limbs blown off/ being burned to death in their refugee tents/ being starved / being denied medical supplies to save their lives/ being orphaned? Why do you think they are responsible for holding hostages??? I would genuinely like to know why you think all of the above is justified?

I cant understand posters still defending Israel. After all thats happened they are still defending Israel with the same old excuses.
I don't think they feel anything except sorry for Israel. It astounds me.

fixingmylife · 03/06/2025 16:59

Israel should not be allowed to investigate themselves. Is this normal in other conflicts? For example in the recent murders of Palestinians while they were receiving aid - they denied that it happened, then said that they would be investigating themselves, then blaming Hamas for engineering a situation and stealing food. Never taking any responsibility and the mainstream media are largely letting them get away with it. I'm sick of it. Is there anything other than Trump that can make it stop? It is just unspeakable what is happening and I think of it daily and feel helpless.

Edited

Is there much the mainstream media can do though.
Israel won’t allow them into Gaza so the only media on the ground are Palestinians who work for the media or / and locals who are able ( and with access to electricity ) to post on phones.
Netanyahu and the IDF and pro Israel news outlets then call it all propaganda

....and also aid workers and health workers, some of which are from the UK. They are also speaking out with what they have witnessed.

Thanks! Reflects what I've been hearing out and around from even unexpected spaces and people. It seems Europe and America are finally aligning and there is no "Silent Majority" supporting what is happening.

I saw the tide turning in America a few months ago when I spoke to a "Republican" older male (now formerly due to Gaza) with a deep country accent. I fully expected him to be Pro the "War" but he was vehemently not and nearly in tears due to the pictures of the Children.

Public support for Israel in western Europe at lowest ever recorded by YouGov

Survey says fewer than a fifth of respondents in six countries hold a favourable opinion of the country

Sadly I think the US is too deep into Israel’s pockets for anything to actually change..

The rest of the world is just as bad though. Everyone knows but no one who do anything, does anything. I wonder why that might be?

What do you mean 'deep in Israel's pockets?

And why do you think it might be? Your post is a bit cryptic.
