The losses endured by some families is beyond belief. Imagine if it was your family. I literally can't. It's too huge a loss to comprehend.

The article also suggests that Israel is breaking International Law (shocking I know) in its disregard for civilians.

Wiping out entire families and bloodlines is evidence of genocide, and the ICJ is looking at this as part of their case.

This is blatant disregard for the lives of Palestinian people at best, and targeted mass murder of civilians at worst.

Israeli airstrikes are eradicating entire Palestinian families in Gaza, sometimes generations at a time, to a degree never seen before in previous conflicts there.

The UN concludes that Israel has committed the crime of extermination in Gaza.

If you can't see that wiping out families is part of a genocide then you're just being wilfully blind in my opinion.

Thanks for sharing @ConnieCounter

How any sane person can justify Israel’s actions is beyond me. The pure evil is astonishing.

Thank you for showing this wiping out of whole families @ConnieCounter . Reading that report of the killing of one whole family after another is like reading something like an inversion of Genesis.
Those people will be felt as stolen away down many generations to come. I don’t know if it is intentional, or happening because of extended families living in close proximity. The report mentioned that there was usually no connection to Hamas involved. It certainly feels like genocide.

Thank you for that statement from Jewish Voice for Peace @anotherlevel.
It is important to know that there are Jewish people too who recognise the wrong happening to Palestinians, even in spite of what happened to their own people at Hamas’s hands. That takes a great deal of courage I am not sure I would have.

Israel is not only committing genocide but is wiping out the culture and history of Palestine. That is why they destroyed mosques and churches, schools, universities, shops etc Even in UK the Israel group UK lawyers for Palestine make every attempt to stop Palestinian art, poetry, film etc being represented. No Palestinian has been allowed to come here for medical treatment despite UK doctors raising the necessary funds. 100 Palestinian children are being treated in Switzerland for example. Difficulties are also made for any Palestinian coming to study here even if they have a scholarship. Neither are Palestinians with family here given visas.

I think it was quite early on in this episode that it had been stated by Palestinian Christians that most of their families had been wiped out.

It’s so cruel.

@ScrollingLeaves re your question about families being in close proximity.

‘Like many others in Gaza, Iyyam lived with her extended family in one house, a three-storey building split into six flats. Five uncles and aunts on her father’s side, along with their children, all lived under the same roof. The tradition of extended families living together in multistorey buildings, compounded by relatives moving in together for safety in wartime, has meant that hundreds of multigenerational families have suffered the same fate as the Aghas, all but wiped out in single or multiple strikes.’
