Could anyone provide me with any encouragement or positive experiences? I got pregnant two months after miscarrying and am very anxious about facing another pregnancy loss. I am six weeks pregnant and have booked a viability scan for next week but still very worried.

Many thanksx

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Good friend has a DD who was born at 35 weeks (although is now 2 and totally fine). She TTC number 2, had an unexplained miscarriage, got pregnant again reasonably quickly, was worried throughout the whole pregancy that she would either lose the baby, or it would be born early like her first, but....she has just had a healthy, full-term baby girl 3 weeks ago!

Hope your scan goes well next week and this one story is some encouragement - roll on other positive stories.

I had an awful mmc last year, 4 mc before that and am now pregnant with twins which are doing really well. Still worry something will go wrong but ive only got about 9 weeks to go before they are here.

Good luck on your pregnancy and try and enjoy it (easier said than done i know)

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I conceived after 2 distressing miscarriages (on all 3 occasions I got pregnant straight away so everything happened in a very short space of time) and now have a lovely toddler.

Your risk of having a healthy baby is not affected by previous miscarriages - you are still very likely to carry to term and have a happy baby.

It is also very common - that knowledge doesn't help everyone but it does help me. I also find that no-one ever talks about it unless you raise it first.

Congratulations and good luck.

A happy baby? A healthy baby. (And happy too)
