Hey lovely people

I've just come off the October bus and because of my long cycles my spreadsheet says that I skip November and would be due in December.

So I thought I'd start the December bus.

Here's the start of the stats - looking forward to some friends hopping on board soon.

mimi fingers crossed for you, hope it comes up clearer tomorrow.

decafgirl · 11/04/2010 20:10

Ha Mimi I knew you would be lucky this month! Am sooo hoping it's a definate positive tomorrow!

Wasn't too rough this morning thank God (did partake in plenty of vodka though!)

Temperatures still up and have had (ahem) leakage for the last few days...sorry, tmi I know but my body is super weird this month!

Hope you're ok Catherine xxxx

mumatron · 12/04/2010 06:52

any news mimi? have my fingers crossed for you. how is everyone else?

feeling slightly sicky today, but that isnt unusual for me tbh. wonder how long i can hold off testing for?

i have two days off work without the dc's yay! going to take myself shopping, should keep me away from poas stick for today atleast!!

womanlytales · 12/04/2010 10:29

Mimi - All the best and hope you get a strong line
Mumatron - Just noticed we're on the same CD and am really thankful to hear of someone else thinking of testing... I too am holding back from testing That I think is the easy part it's the constant thoughts for company that just overwhelm me. Not much in the way of symptom spotting cause I don't feel any different but just the what if dream scenarios are killing me!!!
Was in the hospie today for my D21 progesterone test the cutest pair of twin boys sat beside me THEY WERE JUST ADORABLE. First I thought wow- great vibes...this is good...then as I waited for my turn.. It just felt really good sitting between the children and feeling like a family. WIERD, wierd sentimentality - a part of my brain is saying even now...but I can't help feeling how good that was...
Sad part - ended up having a muffin and a piece of cake on the way back home... Each day is a struggle with my diet. Being in the 2ww is certainly not making it any easier.

Mimi1977 · 12/04/2010 12:52

Hi girls,

Thanks for all the good wishes. It's so lovely to have you all here to tell things to as it's stuff you don't really want to confess to RL friends is it?!

Well not much change with me. Still a very faint positive. Tested with clear blue normal (whatever it's called - the non digital one) and got a faint line so then used a clearblue digital and it said not pregnant . So think I maybe am pregnant but what is worrying me is that I must have really low HCG levels and period is defo overdue now so would have thought they would be higher. Does this mean I'm more likely to have an early mc - anyone any experience? Oh it's killing me!! Dying to tell my mum but don't want to get her all excited with the promise of a Christmas baby to have her hopes dashed with arrival of AF.

Still not ready to graduate and the plan now is to wait until the weekend when we'll test again. We're keeping it very much to ourselves at the moment as not sure if the faint line vs not pregnant is indicative of a weak pregnancy. Don't want to get my hopes up. Will keep you all posted.

Catherine how are you? Any change with the testing?

Decafgirl Still hoping for a positive from you - it's not over yet and you are rather late! Lets hope.

mumatron Sick is good!! As is retail therapy so indulge. Buy lots of normal clothes which will guarantee a pregnancy as you will be wanting maternity instead!

womanlytales Hope the twins were a good luck omen. You will get there and until you do we all need a little sweet pick-me-up.

Will keep you all posted and will have everything crossed for some BFPs from everyone.

Wholelottalove · 12/04/2010 13:17

mimi congratulations on your bfp! I know it's a worrying time, but you know it's really early days and it could be faint because you ov later than you thought or it implanted later. My first bfp this time was there but not strong, that was on Fri. Tested again this morning (because I wanted reassurance) and line came up straight away before control line did and darker so a couple of days makes a difference. That was on the CB ones too.

With my DD I also tested on CB and the line was so faint I almost chucked it away too and had to go out to buy a digi one.

I think you are doing the sensible and only thing you can do, by waiting until the weekend to test again. Fingers crossed all is well for you and you get a nice clear bfp soon. x

PinkiePoo · 12/04/2010 13:17

Well as i am currently on CD 39 i thought i may as well just do a test and yup u guessed it a BFN.

I thought it probably would have been as i don't think i even ovulated but getting a little annoyed now with irregularity.

Do you reckon i should go bk to docs? They did blood tests to test for PCOS and came bk fine but this is silly. I have had medioum to severe stomach cramps for past 2 weeks.

Oh i feel all rubbish now!!

Mimi1977 · 12/04/2010 13:26

Thanks Wholelottalove. Reassuring to hear you got faint lines too. Think just feel a bit disheartened that the digi one came back not pregnant but only time will tell I guess.

Pinkie I think yes you should go back to doctors. If you are bit worried and frustrated that is reason enough but you shouldn't have to put up with severe stomach cramps. Book an appointment then you'll feel at least like you are doing something positive.

Totallyfloaty35 · 12/04/2010 13:27

Hi all congrats to all those with BFP,great news.
To all those caught by AF my sympathies. Can i be removed from the bus please? Af not got me yet as im only on cycle day 18,but what with DH working away and being ill when at home we have SWI at all this month and really not going to until May as thats when he is next home.
So goodluck to you all still on here, seems to be a lucky bus so i expect masses of Xmas babies

PinkiePoo - Sorry about the BFN. Yes, do certainly go back to ur doctor and have a chat about your next steps.

CatherineEarnshaw · 12/04/2010 18:29

congratulations Mimi mine are always faint so try not to worry

decaf how are things?

sorry about bfns - i have a lovely boy born January - took the edge of the post christmas blues!!

I am ok -thanks all - still madly testing but trying desperately to stay away from the conception indicator ones .....last time when i mc i was doing them every day and they did not move up- 1-2 /2-3/3+ as they should and it wad AWFUL.

very nervous - not telling - not daring to hope - I am very old so not counting chickens

staying on here rather than other thread as so uncertain

thanks for asking - keeps me sane actually because there is no one i can talk to bar dh (thinks i am obsessed!)

have my teens st home for holidays thus stress levels not as low as i was hoping but at least it's sunny!

decafgirl · 13/04/2010 08:18

Morning ladies, it's gone a bit quiet round here hasn't it! No news from me I'm afraid, still no sign of AF, think I'll wait till I've had 14 high temps incase it was late ov and see what happens then. I think that'll take me to CD49! If I get to CD50 I'll test again I promise. If it has been late ov then I'm annoyed with myself because we had zero SWI/SFF then - typical!

Pleased to see everyone else is getting on ok xxx

twolittlemonkeys · 13/04/2010 08:35

Hi, just wondering who'll be testing soon? I'm on CD28 today, OVd on CD16 or 17 according to follicle tracking scans I had and am having to eat loads of chocolate to take my mind off testing (not that it's working!) I ate a whole Easter egg yesterday!

Have got 13 HPTs sitting in my bathroom drawer calling my name! Need some distraction

decafgirl · 13/04/2010 08:53

Oh, good luck tlm I'll distract you...for the length of time it takes you to read this message you will not POAS..........keep reaading...............keep reading.................keep reading.....ooh, btw I just worked out that if DH had any super long-life super sperm than there's a chance one might have been hanging around if an egg did appear I think we need a clutching at straws emoticon......keep reading............ Ah, bugger it go and POAS - I want to know!!

No news from me either. Still no sign of AF so will POAS tomo before docs just in case there has been a miracle

mumatron · 13/04/2010 09:57

womanly hope the twins were a good sign for you.

i caved and tested BFN.

only cd23 and about 9-10dpo and wasn't fmu so not out of the running yet.

still feeling slighlty sicky, but its not stopping me eating! must of put on about a stone since the wekend, all i have done is eat.

LittleSilver · 13/04/2010 10:57

CD29 and poas, BFN. BUT, am taking comfort from the fact that I am only 10 DPO due to oving on CD19. Am now going to wait until either AF shows up on Thurs when due, or the weekend when will have had high temps for 3 days longer than UCL. I hope. Anyone due to test on weekend who wants a buddy?

boba82 · 13/04/2010 11:06

Sorry about those BFNs mumatron and littlesilver, does sound a wee bit to early though so will keep FC for uz.

mumatron · 13/04/2010 11:36

well, i just went to throw the test away, had a really close squint look at it and there is a def although very faint pink line i had to take the test apart but it is definatley there.

please keep your fingers crossed for me ladies! i need someone else to see it because im going mad looking at!

womanlytales · 13/04/2010 12:16

Mumatron - hooooooow exciting - Everything crossed for you -- hang in there..and give it a couple of days before trying again but I have a wonderful feeling about this

LittleSilver - I am going nuts trying to figure out when to test. Having had irregular periods all my life..post my OD I've had 28 day cycles...so though I expect D28 for my AF to come by...Sunday - April 18 -- I am like what if this cycle I revert back to my original irregular cycle. So not sure if I want to test till Monday or perhaps Weds - D31. Also since last night I am preparing myself for a BFN...how wierd is that!!!

Twolittlemonkeys I have just one solitary test in my drawer - and yesterday I pulled it out and read the instructions all over again - LOL. I certainly need more tests but am nervous and getting more nervous to POAS. LOL

mumatron · 13/04/2010 12:19

thanks womanly its very early so going to hold off testing again until fri.

womanlytales · 13/04/2010 12:20

Mumatron - totally hear you on the non-stop eating...I have been eating so much... funny that DH just called to check if I went on another eating binge this morning post a porridge bfast [believe you me] like I did yesterday -- but nope: My fears have taken over and I seem to not want to eat anything.

No symptoms, not sure when Progesterone blood test will reach GP -- Anybody know how long it takes to get from the hospital tothe GP? I gave the test yesterday though..

boba82 · 13/04/2010 12:23

Oooh sounds promising mumatron I will keep everything crossed for you!

womanly I think it can take up to a week for test results to go between hospitals and GPs but not sure on that particular one.

sparechange · 13/04/2010 16:41

She got me today. Didn't come as any big surprise, but it was a couple of days late, so I had allowed myself to get my hopes up again

The good news is the GP has referred me for a day 3 and day 21 test, so I'll be off to the clinic on Thursday.

The GP said the tests aren't particularly good for ruling things in or out, but it doesn't hurt to do them.

So I'm off out tonight to have a BIG glass of wine and do some holiday shopping
