I'm coming to the end of my second cycle of ttc #1 (BFN this morning and af due sometime this week).

My cycles are not overly regular and have had some questions over my hormone levels previously. I feel "in the mood" for bd around days 13-16 but given that my cycle can sometimes be as long as 33 days I might well be ov'ing a lot later. I think the CBFM might be helpful (tell me if you disagree! Open to other methods)

So...where can I get the best price? I see that on Amazon they're about 55 quid on Amazon - does anywhere do them cheaper? Is it a bad idea to go for a 2nd hand one?

I'm sure this has all been asked before so thanks for your answers!

Hi there, I think £55 is a good price esp if they are doing the free delivery on amazon. Though if you can get a good second hand one a good deal cheaper then it should be ok, I started using mine about over 4 years ago for DS and using it now, and still seems to be working fine. Amazon def the best place for the sticks as well, unfortunately have to get a new supply of them as AF got me again grrrrrrr

Thanks points - it's only now becoming clear just how ridiculous my previous beliefs about conception were! I spent years worrying about contraceptives failing...if only 'twere that easy!!
