I just feel so guilty went my DD asks when she is going to have a sister.

I missed so much with her, she was only 8mths when i got BC and then 15mths when i got GBS i was in hosptial for 3mths and took long time before i could walk. I couldn't take her to the park or swimming or anything and now i can't seem to even give her a sibling. I don't want her to grow up alone.

Meanwhile my BF is pg with no.3 in 3yrs and i am honestly really pleased for her but it is hard to express how i feel to her.

Also though i have a friend who was TTC for 12mths and about to begin testing when she got a BFP shes now 23wks. So there is hope thats what i need to concentrate on.

Off for cup of tea now. Thanks for listening to me rant.

Debbsy · 18/07/2005 21:29

Bella ((( hugs ))) its very very difficult this ttc lark but be positive ( i know its hard) it will happen for all of us im sure have you had any tests done at drs? have you been referred? dh going for sperm analysis on weds so we are a bit nervous about that too and my salp results from last week.I know how you feel you turn on tv and theres either someone pg or babies on tv,you read someones pg in the book, you drive your car and you see lots of pg women, you walk into a shop and someone whos pg is walkng out it feels like everyones pg except you,and sometimes its v v hard not to cry and scream and shout WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN TO ME I hope this in a small way has made you feel slightly better knowing we are going through this with u and know exactly how you feel and are perhaps the only ones that do.And are holding your hand every step of the way (((hugs)))

Debbsy · 18/07/2005 21:33

eldestgirl · 19/07/2005 07:04

Hi everyone,
Sorry not to have posted for a bit. Been trying to get everything under control and catch DH between business trips to India and Jakarta for BD. I'll blame HP if I get my period as DH was stuck into it all weekend!!
CD22, so 10 days to go before I start wondering whether to test. Cycle is usually 32 days but occasionally can stretch to 35. Am trying not to think about it as last month I had almost convinced myself I was pg before period arrived bang on time.

charleepeters · 19/07/2005 07:26

WHen do you think i should go to gp's? i caved and got a BFN this morning but im 10 dyas late - surley no one has a 48 day cycle???? i wouldnt mind not having af normaly but obviously if theres no af you dont ovulate????

Bella23 · 19/07/2005 09:29

Debbsy - thanks for sharing your own thoughts as that is exactly how I feel!!
I feel slightly less desperate than I did yesterday, an early night seemed to have worked a little.
DH is going for a sperm test next Thursday so am nervous about that but also positive that we are taking steps to rule out any issues.
CP - poor you, no AF and still a BFN....what is going on!!!

Frizbe · 19/07/2005 09:37

Hi all just popping by to say Hulababy hope things work out this month, and that you get rid of that apartment! It must be your month this month surely?

CP, I'd go to the quacks as soon as you can, they need to check you out and get your body back on track!

charleepeters · 19/07/2005 11:29

Ok girls i went to teh g.p this morning and its bad news im afraid, she said that where i had al the symptoms and a light BFP the severla BFN's that it was most probable an early m/c.

But please, please dont feel upset or bad for me, i knew in my heart and head i was never properly pg, and it was so early i never had time to bond, or make plans for my baby so really im ok.

The gp has made me an appointmen in 2 weeks for a blood pg test to make sure, im expecting it to be neg, she said my period could take up to 4 weeks to come after an early m/c but to go back sooner if i have any pain.

But the way i see it is im halthyish, young and I WILL DO IT!

so now its a waiting game for af, so i cans tart trying again!

good luck to the next testers

Bella23 · 19/07/2005 12:55

CP, sorry to hear that but I would keep bding anyway as I know loads of people who have had an early m/c and then gone on to get a BFP straight away...good luck!!

milosmum · 19/07/2005 13:04

Jen1209 · 19/07/2005 18:54

hula - sorry about AF honney

bella (((hugs))) for you hon.

Cp - i'm so sorry honney.

(i've been sent another joke along so here it is for all of u guys to mull over! - hopefully it will make u smile)

Jack goes to the doctor and says "Doc I'm having trouble getting my penis erect, can you help me?"

After a complete examination the doctor tells Jack, "Well the problem with you is that the muscles around the base of your penis are damaged. There's really nothing I can do for you except if you're willing to try an experimental treatment."

Jack asks sadly, "What is this treatment?" "Well," the doctor explains, "what we would do is take the muscles from the trunk of a baby elephant and implant them in your penis."

Jack thinks about it silently then says, "Well the thought of going through life without ever having sex again is too much, lets go for it."

A few weeks after the operation Jack was given the green light to use his improved equipment. He planned a romantic evening for his girl friend and took her to one of the nicest restaurants in the
city. In the middle of dinner he felt a stirring between his legs that continued to the point of being uncomfortable.

To release the pressure Jack unzipped his fly. His penis immediately sprung from his pants, went to the top of the table, grabbed a dinner roll and then returned to his pants.

His girl friend was stunned at first but then said with a sly smile, "That was incredible! Can you do that again?"

Jack replied, "Well, I guess so, but I'm not sure I can fit another dinner roll up my ass!"

Harrizeb · 19/07/2005 21:04

Hi everyone,

CP I'm so sorry hun {{hugs}}

Hula too

Debbsy just wanted to say good luck for you and DH for tomorrow. I hope your results all come back positive for you.

I'm on CD 15 and managed to have sex last night even though I have a snotty cold and DH is feeling rough too but I am fairly sure that we've missed it this month, I had EWCM on Sunday so think that last night was too late. But until the old witch turns up we don't know

Hi Jen, eldestgirl, Frizbe, munz, Jag, MM, hope your all doing well.

So who's our next tester then?

Take care
H x

Debbsy · 19/07/2005 22:22

HandbagAddiction · 20/07/2005 07:55

Only just caught up with this from yesterday..

Cp - I'm so sorry to hear your news. Big hugs coming your way.

Hula - about AF arriving. It's so crap isn't it? Thanks for the house update by the way...can't believe your 'buyer' had the nerve to call again and 'claim' he could raise some cash. some people have no idea!!

Just a brief one from me for now...as I'm just about to go and interview someone.

Harriezb - theoretically, I'm up next for testing as I'm on CD27 today. However, had a bit more spotting this morning so - despite me buying some more tests yesterday evening on the way home - I think I'll be saving them for next month as I'm fairly certain that proper AF is around the corner.... Still at least that means I can drink lots at my sisters wedding....

Hello to everyone else and I'll post more later......

Bella23 · 20/07/2005 11:29

Morning ladies.
Well CD21 for me so counting down to AF. She should rear her ugly head this weekend. No symptoms to suggest otherwise so another unsuccessful month! mmmm....sounding a bit negative? You bet!!

Sorry, just feeling so resigned at the minute that its difficult to even feign enthusiasm!

Hope you ladies all have better luck...

george32 · 20/07/2005 11:59

Bella, sorry you are sounding so down. Keep going girl. It will happen. Might even still be this month

Hope you have been buying your thermometer, it's bound to bring on a BFP before you get much use from it.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
x

Bella23 · 20/07/2005 12:28

Thanks George - sorry am just such a grump at the moment as literally the world and his wife around me are getting pregnant!

Yep just got to keep going....
