Hi and welcome Eldestgirl

CP - Sorry about BFN

Hi; not had chance to catch up on all measssages. That'll teach me for not reading every night!

CD23 here. Af could be any time from Saturday onwards based on last month.

Going to see my friend's new baby boy on Sunday. He is 2 weeks old. And he is now out of SC (after about 7 or 8 days I think it was) and home with his mummy and daddy.

milosmum · 14/07/2005 18:59

you had any signs yet hula??? could be your month hon!

Hulababy · 14/07/2005 19:26

Noth9ing more than the usual stuff you feel pre AF or pre BFP TBH. I have not yet determined the difference. LOL! You know, tiredness, achy chest, need for toilet more - all standard stuff.

milosmum · 14/07/2005 19:41

well- hula - i have my fingers crossed for you!

OP posts:
Hulababy · 14/07/2005 19:45

Thanks MM; you never know. We will see. No doubt all the lifting, etc at weekend (helping BIL/SIL to move house) will help AF on its way anyway!

How are you doing?

milosmum · 14/07/2005 19:50

good- thanks- on CD8 at the mo- so eager to get to next week and start testing for ov!

already booked dh in- told him he isn t going anywhere!!!!

OP posts:
Hulababy · 14/07/2005 19:54

LOL! My DH is still of the "it'll happen when it happens" brigade so I try and not let him know when the time is right IYSWIM. Yeah right! 11 months and counting - time is right, as if! He doesn't go in for counting and finding out, which makes it easier Just have to remember to fool him just before and after so he doesn't suspect any motives too much. Not that he ever minds anyway - and I am not the kind to go ahead just for the baby reason anyway.

Would love for this month to be the one, but I have been pg twice before (one mc, one DD) and both times it took 15 months - so really I reckon I have another 6 months to go.

milosmum · 14/07/2005 19:59

my hubby was the wait ans c type until we had the 2nd mc in may and by then he was really broody! but he just went along with whatever- he knows whos the boss.... ha! lol.

im just getting used to all this temping and testing lark after 2 years of trying- my ds was concieved the first time we tried we no contraception! but at least i know i can get pregnant- its keeping them in there! would nt mind ds didn t want to come out he was 13 days late and then look 3 bloody days! so i must be a good oven!

Really hope its your month too hula!

My DD was same MM. She was 12 days late when i went in for induction - and wasn't born till well over 48 hours later - and then by cs as she had no intention of being born herself. Induction only got me to 2/3cm! She kept falling asleep 9according to heart monitors) so I had to keep moving and prodding her to wake up. When he was born she cried for about 3 seconds, looked at me and DH and then went back to sleep. LOL!!!

milosmum · 14/07/2005 20:05

bless- how on earth could she fall asleep in all that!

OP posts:
Hulababy · 14/07/2005 20:07

Mad isn't it. I, on the other hand, had no sleep at all during that time!

Seeing my friend's little boy on Sunday. He was born on 1st July, but was in SCBU for first 7 or 8 days. He is so tiny - just 6lbs 1oz. Really looking forward to it - it's their first. But no it will make me feel even more broody than ever. Knowing my luck AF will arrive that day too, sods law.

milosmum · 14/07/2005 20:09

wish you all the luck hula!!! off to scoff some chocci now im all broody and wanting!

Hello - after watching your ttc threads for the past six months I now feel brave enough to join you.

Me 31
DH 34
DS 19mths (1st attempt at IVF/ICSI)
TTC 6 months

Sub fertile (so no known reason) as endo was zapped (but still cause pain each af) and this month is last attempt before I start the pill to regulate me for defrosted embryo plantation.

Hulababy · 14/07/2005 21:34

Welcome to the TTC madness successful. Hope this is your month

successful · 14/07/2005 21:38

Thanks Hula - I wish you loads of luck and baby dust. It's much easier to chat about 'conception' stuff with people you don't 'know'

Hulababy · 14/07/2005 21:39

I agree. If you have been lurking for 6 months you will know exactly how much we can talk about here. LOL!

successful · 14/07/2005 21:51

Oh yes I know you lot can 'talk' it is really hard keeping up with it all which is why I have never been brave enough to join in

Hulababy · 14/07/2005 21:51

LOL! You'll be hooked within days, I bet

Harrizeb · 14/07/2005 22:34

Evening everyone, how you doing?

CP so sorry for your BFN, but until the witch arrives theres is aways a chance.

Debbsy so sorry it hurt lots for you, but onwards and upwards for you, and hope the results are all positive for you.

Bev, fingers crossed that your BFP is just round the corner for you.

Welcome sucessful, and fingers crossed for you this month.

Hula, I hope it isn't too hard for you meeting your friends little one, and that everything is fine for them now, bit of a scarey start for them.

MM Hi hope you are ok, and I love you booking DH for next week.

Hi everyone else, Munz if you're still lurking - I have Green & Blacks white choc tonight if you'd like a square or 2,

Umm me, well I'm on CD9 and just waiting to get started, think we'll be using the pillow approach this month if DH continues on his mision , but that does also depend on where he is next week, could be Oxford again or Manchester so we shall see.

Take care and speak to you tomorrow, fingers crossed for a cooler day please.

H x
