****October bus ready to depart****

OK I have just worked out that if my next cycle is the same length as this one was then I will actually be due 1st October if I get pg so rather than sitting at the back of the September bus I thought I might skip straight ahead to the next one lol.

Plenty of chocolate and biscuits ready for the journey

Nancydrewrocks I am hopping between busses also as it depends how long my cycle ends up this time lol. Plus it gets lonely right at the back of the bus.

nancydrewrocks · 05/01/2010 12:17

stuffed doesn't it just! I will however hop between the two with choc and tissues a plenty and keep you company for as long as you are there!

Bessie sorry my fault - got carried away with my intro and didn't update. Wont do it again !

I think I might be at the back of the September bus as well. I ovulated today, I really have high hopes for this month

stuffedmk · 05/01/2010 13:53

I refuse to get hopeful.......yeah right lol

OP posts:
Bessie123 · 05/01/2010 14:01

I know what you mean, every month I plan to play it cool and not put any pressure on but I always end up taking a test about a week before I'm due on.

digitalgirl · 05/01/2010 14:28

ooh, the list is getting longer! Very exciting. From when does a bfp mean it's an October baby? Is it if you ovulate on the 8th Jan you get a 1st Oct due date, so the earliest bfps for that could be 29/30th Jan? That's aaaages away.

Added kelah as she dropped off somewhere.

Liking the idea of a 10/10 baby to match my 08/08 DS!

Doh, meant earliest for due oct bfp wouid be 19th/20th Jan. Stupid dg - must be a symptom. Even though I'm only on cd3.

addictedtomn · 05/01/2010 14:46

hi everyone can i join you?

me and dh stopped ttc after lots of personal problems, but have now decided to try again. i've had 2 mc and have been told i will have lots more, basicly getting pregnant is the easy part, staying pregnant is the hard part. i have a gyne appointment on the 14th to see what she will recommend, but we have decided to start ttc now.

digital girl your due date would be 40 weeks after the first day of your last period. (technically that would put me on the september bus, but there are lots of people on there and i'm scared!) and you would get your bfp on the first day of your next period.
e.g my forst day of my last period was 18th dec 1009, 40 weeks later is 30th sept 2010, my next period is due 23rd jan 2010 so that would be when i found out...digitalgirl does that make sence?

addictedtomn · 05/01/2010 14:48

sorry that shoud say first not forst and 2009 not 1009

stuffedmk · 05/01/2010 14:51

It seems to depend where you look for dates. On the due date calculater on here I come up as 1st Oct if I use the same cycle length as my last cycle but end of sept if I use lower. Hence the hopping from bus to bus lol.

I think looking back to my last cycle I had some ewcm at about normal time then a second batch about 2 weeks before AF eventually arrived so may have either not ov'd or it was delayed. I was poorly at the very start of my cycle and I did also have a bit of stress around the time when I originally thought I ov'd(got scared shitless by being way to close to an armed robbery ) So it may well have been a one off long cycle.
We shall see.
Have bought loads of ebay cheapie tests so I can start testing way too early and not have to worry.

i'm actually quite jellous, i'm on day 19 and still a week away from the 2ww! I ahve no buscuits but have a tin of quality street your welcome to a couple.

mumofzac · 05/01/2010 17:39

Am only on day 3 which seems so far away from the tww! Maybe this is the lucky month for us all. New year and fresh hopes and all that.... I'm the optmistic one on the bus x

maamalady · 05/01/2010 19:07

Ooo, quality street!

I am ready for AF to go away now, I want to actually get on with the "trying" bit! DH is quite excited about the idea of TTC which is a bit surprising really, I thought buying folic acid yesterday would scare him more not make him enthusiastic so shows how much I know!

shelleee · 05/01/2010 20:22

hi everyone , just thought i would check in see how you all are , im only on cd5 so a long time to wait ,, im feeling a bit sad this month , cycle 8 and nothing so far ,, two friends have said they are pregnant this week and i have a work mate ready to give birth and i even felt jealous of stacy on eastenders ,,, sorry for whinging ( hangs head in shame and buries head in heat magazine ) xx

decafgirl · 05/01/2010 20:55

Hi shelleee, don't feel bad hon, it took me a year to have my DS and I felt exactly the same. If I'm honest I'm totally expecting to have to go through another year of hell (at least) this time round too. It's awful having to listen to everyone elses news but we'll get there in the end...xxx decaf

asianbabe · 05/01/2010 21:00

Hi All

I've just hopped off the september bus. Hope I have better luck on this cool october bus, make room at the back.

Fingers crossed for all.

just changing days and buping, how is everyone today? sheleee, its normal to get upset when other people announce pregnancys. a very close friend of mine has had a baby boy, he's 2 weeks old and i havent been to see him yeet, it just hurts too much, she understands, and i've posted lots of nice things for them both. its perfectly normal to feel jellous and hurt and upset.

Just popping my head around the door to say 'hello'. Currently aboard the September bus, but checking out the October's transport arrangements just in case (hello to familiar faces, fx you have a more successful journey!). Good luck to everyone on board, SB
