OK I have just worked out that if my next cycle is the same length as this one was then I will actually be due 1st October if I get pg so rather than sitting at the back of the September bus I thought I might skip straight ahead to the next one lol.

Plenty of chocolate and biscuits ready for the journey

Ok not sure who to tell as think DH would be a bit grossed out. But seem to be having lots of EWCM this month - which has to be a good thing right??

Sorry had my moment now. Will need to carry on shagging tonight as thought I ovulated yesterday but more EWCM means we are still in with a chance. Right?

heading4home · 28/01/2010 09:51

Loujalou - oh yes, lots of EWCM means have lots of sex! Excellent!

My dh has now proved he is as obsessed as me, he just emailed me a link to a pregnancy site and quoted what it says about implantation bleeding. Very sweet of him, but I suggested maybe he shouldn't email this to my work email account

Mmmcoffee · 28/01/2010 10:16

BUnder no we don't have a family planning clinic, wish we did! There really should be more in the smaller towns.

SilverBoots · 28/01/2010 12:02

Hello!

CONGRATULATIONS jennimoo !!

to those with BFNs or AFs.

I'm just hanging around, waiting for AF...

The plan was to test today with a clearblue digital but as I tested a couple of days ago with a cheapy & got a BFN there doesn't seem much point in wasting it!

Fingers crossed for loads more graduates!

Boots x

lucielooo · 28/01/2010 12:21

Tested this morning with a First Response and BFN Still it's not over till it's over and all that so I'm just going to cling onto the bumper of the October bus for now...

Mmmcoffee · 28/01/2010 12:23

Does anyone know a good reliable CHEAP PG test strip that can be bought in packs of 2 or more? Wilkinsons used to do a 2-pack for 2.99 or so but it's vanished.

...am I the only one who has to obsessively test at least twice before I'll believe the results?

lucielooo · 28/01/2010 12:34

Someone suggested this site yesterday...
www.babymad.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=20 &Itemid=26&vmcchk=1&Itemid=26

Unless you need them now and can't wait for internet delivery. (and yes I keep testing until AF arrives)

Loujalou · 28/01/2010 12:37

I got mine from ebay. Fertility plan or something like that. They look like proper tests and are very cheap...

craftykamo · 28/01/2010 13:10

Hi all, does anyone mind if I have a mini panic? (DH is refusing to listen to it anymore as he thinks I'm going mental - me buying cough medicine was the last straw!)

How long does it usually take for things to return to normal after stopping the pill? I'm on CD 15 and still have no signs of ovulation, CM isn't budging from "sticky" and my BBT is plodding along. I'm starting to worry, probably without cause, but my older sister's been told she's having an early menopause at 35 and at 32 I've just read that I've hardly any eggs left! Should I see my GP? Or will I be told to come back in 6 months?

Sorry, I know I'm being daft and I should wait to see what happens, but I just don't feel like there's much time left.

craftykamo · 28/01/2010 13:15

Oh and regarding cheap tests, I had a "moment" a few months back and bought some from the Asda pharmacy - think it was less than £2 for three "dipping" strips. Just went to the counter and asked as I couldn't see any on the shelves.

jennimoo · 28/01/2010 13:18

Mmmcoffee- Savers shops often have the pregnancy test strips, and occassionally OPKs. Very cheap, nearly as cheap as online I think.

Mmmcoffee · 28/01/2010 13:20

Thanks all. Running out to Asda.

livviloo · 28/01/2010 13:27

how do I take myself off the list. I had posted that I had AF but I think I forgot to update the list good luck to everyone.

Totallyfloaty35 · 28/01/2010 14:04

Its7- 9days til AF due,but would it be to early to Poas on Monday???

Lorelai · 28/01/2010 14:14

Hi all. Haven't had a chance to read all the new messages, but AF has got me. Can someone move me to the back of the bus next time they update, and change stats to cycle 2 UCL 26 CD1?

Lorelai · 28/01/2010 14:15

Oh, that ? Isn't part of my state by the way!

Spacefrog · 28/01/2010 14:18

Congrats to all BFP so far!

Craftykamo if you're worried why don't you go and ask your GP. It will bring you peace of mind, you will relax and get pregnant more easily ! (That's what my GP told me: the thing that works the best is to relax. Hmm, easier said than done.)

Am on CD21 and still no rise in temperature. Anyone ever had that? Am starting to think that my ovaries have taken a holiday. [Mentally drifting toward November bus]

Posted on 2ww thread but cracked tonight and did a tesco cheapy - BFN

Trying to convince myself it was late in the day, had drank loads of water etc etc but surely there'd be a line of some sort if I was pg? Someone please tell me tesco are shit & to test again tomorrow. Haven't got the heart to tell DH. xx

Fairygodmother1 · 28/01/2010 18:50

Cheers LF, I just can't understand how I could not be pregnant with all the symptoms I'm having! I must have been to the loo 20 times today! Can't believe this is only cycle 1 of ttc and I've lost the plot already. All the stress of ttc#1 is flooding back.

BTW, I'm not this mental about anything else, I'm quite a normal, rational gal usually! xx

digitalgirl · 28/01/2010 21:35

decafgirl you are me exactly two days ago. Absolutely convinced I was pg after so much cramping over the weekend. But a bfn at what I thought was 12dpo not even a faint faint line. I really hope you've just tested too early.

bunnygirl80 · 28/01/2010 22:02

spacefrog I didn't get temp shift till day 24 last mont (normally it's around day 19 for me) - I'd convinced myself that my ovaries had switched themselves off, but they had obviusly just had a lie in

craftykamo you might just be going to ov later in your cycle - if I were you I'd try and wait a bit before you worry too much. If it would give you some peace of mind then a trip to the GP won't do any harm - I would think that with a family history of early menopause you wouldn't have any problems getting testing done
