Really worrying about ever shortening luetal phase. Can feel af about to appear and only 5 days past ovulation.
So when should I take these and how much should I take?
Any advice greatly appreciated!

Hi yogamat. Disclaimer first - I'm really not qualified at all to be giving medical advice and you should probably see a consultant. But.... I had a LP of 7-8 days and TTC2'd for 8 months. Never actually tried Agnus Castus, but took B6 (all through cycle) and it didn't make any difference. Finally tried natural progesterone cream (from ovulation onwards) and got pregnant first month. I'm still only 5 weeks, but fingers crossed. Incidentally, when I went to see a consultant (actually I was already pregnant, but had made the appt weeks earlier), he said that he didn't consider a short LP a problem, and if I'd been to see him before I got pg, he would have just sent me away again. Helpful. Personally, I'm convinced that it was the cream that made the difference.

What about you? Have you noticed a short LP over a long period of time? And are you pretty certain of when you're ovulating?

I take both AC and B6 and personally I think they have made a big difference to my situation. Like you, I had a LP of about 5 days without help.

I take 100mg of B6 each day, and 4 agnus castus capsules (the basic Holland & Barrett ones) throughout my cycle. There is also a tincture of AC that is recommended by some people I believe.

Using these supplements I reckon my LP is more like 12-14 days now, although it is not quite possible to tell as I also use progesterone pessaries that I was prescribed, so there may be a difference from them.

But I wouldn't hesitate to use them - so long as you are not on Clomid or fertility drugs or anything that might interact with them. My GP actually said she is very strongly pro AC as well, but not all are!
