i know im just being silly it took 9 months for me to fall pregnant with ds and i was in my early twenties then .

Chulita · 06/11/2009 04:32

OK so I think I've got it
TTC#2 Cycle4 UCL29 CD19
Something like that anyway, #1 was a bit of a surprise so properly ttc is a bit nerve-racking!

QueenMercury · 06/11/2009 07:56

I'm on my 2ww wait now too, not liking it one bit,i'm so impatient and so is oh, he is contantly asking 'have you got any symptoms yet?'

I had a dizzy spell yesterday, I'm trying not to read too much into it but I never suffer with dizziness so maybe this could be the month.

I've got my fingers crossed, good luck to everyone!

Chulita · 06/11/2009 08:48

I've had really bad back ache both yesterday and today - trying not to get hopeful either...DH is pretty easy going but I'm watching DD get older and thinking I don't want the gap to be this big!!

yellowmum84 · 06/11/2009 09:12

Hi all..

well i think i might be ovulating soon!! exciting that's what the sticks say anyway (i don't care if it's only a lightish line, that's good enough for me)

That's weird about the twins Kaylo, would be interesting to see if it comes true!

Shelleee, no way are you too old... there are loads of mums in their forties nowadays so thirties is really young!

bigmuther65 · 06/11/2009 09:20

Need some advice,i am having some stomach cramps just like i do when i am on a period and quite a lot of cm i feel like im am on my
peiord just one thing missing,no bleeding.

Have read up on implantation pain but this feels more like period cramps,af not due till at least sunday. Not had this before cramps not this bad untill my bleeding starts normaly .Anyone have any ideas or felt this before

randomimposter · 06/11/2009 09:32

hey 65, timing sounds right for implantation... ? Fingers crossed! Guess maybe POAS tomorrow, and that might give you the answer you (we all!) want!

shellee, defo not too old, I had DS1 at 40, got pregnant again first month of trying at 41 (though sadly lost that one) and know of LOTs of "older" mums.

No news here, about to start the required BD programme from tonight... Funny how when you want something SO bad time seems to go very slowly!!!!!

Have lost my Guy Fawkes prefix, will now be plain old Jollster until Dec 1st...

PollyPoo · 06/11/2009 09:59

Morning all

Can I join? If I am successful this month bubba will be due at the very end of July but knowing me/DH/DD, new bubba will also be late.

TTC#2, Cycle 18, UCL28, CD16.

Good luck all!

Chulita · 06/11/2009 10:04

yellowmum - DD has awful diarrhoea atm and pooed all up her back at 0330, soaked vest/sleepsuit/grobag/sheet, little puddle on the mattress [sigh] by the time I'd cleared it up she was wide awake so I had to entertain her for a bit til she was tired again. I'm not usually posting at 4am
65 - fingers crossed for you!!

PollyPoo · 06/11/2009 10:20

Hey Liahgen, I am due on 19 Nov so I will be your testing buddy! However, not even sure I Ov'd this month so I'm not sure how lucky I will be.. grrr.

liahgen · 06/11/2009 13:16

excellent polly. I have to warn you though, I am absolutely crap at waiting, so maybe you could be a good influence. I have no cheapies though so don't wanna waste money.

I am also an older mother, I have just turned 43.

Cazzr · 06/11/2009 13:18

I have a question to those who seem to know about these things... I get ovulation pain (handy you might say but it is quite painful) but I was wondering. Is the pain due to the egg being released or some time afterwards, e.g. 1 day after actual ovulation??
It usually happens day 14 but being this is the first time we have activly tried (DS was a pleasant surprise) I don't want to miss the boat or rather bus I suppose!...

liahgen · 06/11/2009 13:24

Hi cazzr

I have very obvious ov pains and for me it's usually just after the pos on opk, so the most fertile time is just before that if that makes sense.

hope that helps

Cazzr · 06/11/2009 13:34

Thanks, thats good to know as things can be a bit uncomfortable to do the deed if you know what I mean...
Is yours quite low down? I donit get the typical pain in my side.. Only way I can describe is it feels like my cervix is being pushed down so have to be careful when sitting down and if doing 'certain things'...

liahgen · 06/11/2009 13:41

no mine is definately one sided but very low, seemingly tubal or actual release iykwim

I guess at least we know some things are working.

Cazzr · 06/11/2009 13:46

Yeah I guess this is what makes me wonder if i'm getting pain a bit longer after ovulation that you. Ahh well will just have to get on with the job every night for next few nights... DH WILL be happy!

liahgen · 06/11/2009 13:48

good luck, will see you on the dreaded 2ww.

Cazzr · 06/11/2009 13:54

will do, i'll be a mare. I was last month and we weren't even trying then but i was symptom spotting and paranoid the whole time. Made us realise we might as well start trying!

PollyPoo · 06/11/2009 14:49

Liahgen 43?! Wow! Can I ask how old you were when you had your first DC? I would love 4 DC (this scares 'im indoors beyond belief!) but as we didn't start until I was 35 I may be cutting it a bit fine, as I'm 38 now and we've only got the one DD. I never knew 2nd time around would be soooo much harder

I am determined not to test early this month, especially as I'm not even sure I've Ov'd - there is no point torturing myself. (Lets see how long I can hold out this time.. lol!)

PollyPoo · 06/11/2009 14:55

Liahgen just looked at your photos - your kids are GORGEOUS!

Medee · 06/11/2009 16:45

hi ladies.

FloweryBoots · 06/11/2009 17:43

Hi, Newbie here

Think this might be the place for me but biology lessons seem a very long time ago so I'm not sure if I am working things out properly and counting from the right place.

Think my stats would be:

Floweryboots TTC#1 Cycle1 UCL31 CD5

Can I jsut check though - CD1 would be the first day of AF? And if/when you get pregnant, you count the weeks from the first day of your last period? (so you start counting from when you're not actually pregnant, which seems a bit odd to me). Can you tell this is all VERY new to me!

Get to start the fun stuff just as soon as this period finished. To be honest, I'm sure I should be more excited but I think I've been sooo broody for so long it's kind of worn off. Any way, this month is the alotted month to start TTC so hopefuly thats what we'll be doing!

PollyPoo · 07/11/2009 08:47

'lo Medee

Boots you've got it right - CD1 is the first day of your period and that also counts as the day you got pregnant for the purpose of working out your due date.
