Hi all, just logged in to see how you are all doing, congrats to all those with BFP's

DPs bad back is slowly getting better but I have had some minor surgery and am taking antobiotics so will probably hold off next cycle too... at least I will be able to enjoy myslef over Christmas instead of obsessing over POAS !

I also confess i POAS today BFN, only did it because i had a internet cheapy in the draw promise i will be good now and wait till weekend .Sorry i will stand in the corner for ten lashings.Oh and welcome Bewler your sound perfectly insane you will fit right in

Hello teafan, I will also not be POAS paranoid over christmas I have just reached the end of the shagathon with no sex.

Moan Alert! - MAN FLU has struck in our house Well, I suppose that the crisis that I normally have when af turns up is now out of the way, as I have had it over the last few days when I realised that I was not even going to have sex during the middle of my cycle - therefore making babies would be utterly impossible. [unless going for christmasy sex-free pregnancy a la holy ghost type thing]

Sorry, moan over, I have been trying to come on here for a rant for a couple of days now, but every time I have logged on dh has loomed up over my shoulder. He knows I am pissed off, he doesn't need to read the rant too! Come to think of it, I may change my name to MoanAlert

It,s true about the insane bit ,think about being pregnant 24/7,keep telling myself if it is not my time at least i won,t feel crap at christmas,i have had bad MS with all my pregnancys

For those who havn't...GIVE THEM TO DP/DH! It will save you a fortune.

I'm still here with no AF, big boobs and feeling crap! I ordered some cheap test off of amazon yesterday along with ovulation ones and a basal thermometer (I thought that buying the ov sticks might have made AF show up? ) so just waiting for them to show up so that I can do another test, have no doubt that it will be another -tive though.
Confused! On CD51 now, have never had a cycle this long. What is wrong with me?!

Came here to confess my sins that I tested today and find out that all you naughty POAS buddies have been sneaking crafty tests in behind the bike sheds. I managed to hold off this morning but my mid-afternoon the lure of the cheapies in the drawer was too much. Anyway I got what I deserved - BFN!!! Am now totally depressed and feeling sh*tty about myself. I knew I should have waited until Sunday.

Don't beat yourself up too much about POAS points we all gave into tempatation and now are feeling like a pile of pooh!!!!

Its just that crazy time in our cycle where otherwise normal women become crazy obsessed lunies.

Thanks asianbabe - let this be another lesson to us on why we should wait. But it's the same every month - we never learn! I didn't even want my cheapie hpts - i got a load free with the CBFM test sticks I ordered off Ebay, i was planning on waiting to use two CBD's I had saved for the bitter end.

Good luck to those POAS. I just can't do it, as asianbabe says, it makes you feel like a pile of poo to see the BFN. I have no symptoms and expecting AF at the weekend. But am going out Fri and Sat nights so am either going to have to join the madness and POAS or take my temps in the am and rely on that! Really don't want to waste the opportunity to have a bit of vino and a few decent coffee's if not preggo.

How does everyone find temping? It's supposed to be fairly accurate isn't it? I'm one of those people that struggles to remember to take tablets etc so I'm worried if I did it I would keep forgetting

I think temping confuses me even more. Its usually easy to remember and i am rubbish with tablets too. Just with me there was a thermal shift according to FF but when I look at it I am not sure if some of it was due to inconsistent waking times.

Its worth doing and you can use FF to put it all in. Worth a try but am not sure if its helped me or not but its only my second month.

I think the main reason that i thought i should test is that i haven't got any AF signs, my boobs don't hurt and i don't feel hormonal, then with the ov like pain and nausea it made sense to (and i couldn't wait)

With DD i got sent to the hospital for a scan at 7weeks because of the pain, but apparently it was just the egg follicle sealing or something and i have the same pains now.
