Are digital preg tests really 'better' than non-dig?

In what ways?

Yes they put an end to the threads that say "Really faint blue line...."

well, I've always used the cheapest tests available (usually the 'sticks' from Savers)and theres never been any doubt.

So if I were not so lucky, and it weren't obvious - I guess I would go and get one of the digital tests to see if that gave me a better indication.

I would have to say yes. It puts all speculation to rest. There is no guessing, squinting, hoping, seeing things that aren't there etc.

I've also found them to be very sensitive.....more so than sainsbury's and first response.

But the "is there a line or isn't there" is almost half the fun IMO.

It prolongs the fantasy if you're not pg but want to be, for me it softened the blow a little bit rather than getting just a bald "Not Pregnant".

My actual BFP developed very slowly so at first it looked as if there was no line, so I was all "huh, that's that then.." and slowly and surely a line developed and I was "Noooo... it CAN'T be...!" A lovely moment (sigh)
