Getting pregnant aged 37

Hello,
I have a 14 month old dd who was conceived within a couple of months of trying when i was 35. I turned 37 last month and am suddenly desperate for another baby. I am really worried about my age. Does the fact that i got preg so easily two years ago count in my favour or will my fertilty have gone into freefall regardless? I can't really find any info on success rate of second pregnancies at my age. My maternal grandmother and great grandmother both had children in their late 30s - i don't know if this goes in my favour or not. My periods are regular and i am pretty sure i am ovulating. due to breast-feeding until my tot was 12 months i've only had 3 proper periods since the birth.
I would love to hear from anyone who conceived in their late 30s and how easy or not this was.

Hi, I'm new here. Am forty with two kids (aged 13 and 5) and would love to have a third (and last) child! I had a miscarriage (at 6 weeks) 24 March and have just started my first period. I guess I need some positive input from somebody out there as I'm fully aware time is ticking by for me. Should I start tracking ovulation dates even if this is my first cycle after miscarriage? Has anybody out there managed to get pregnant after a m/c at the (wonderful) age of 40ish? I'm really lucky 'cos my DH is fab. The only problem at the moment is that he's started a new job away from home and can only return at week-ends (until the family moves mid-July. Sorry for rabbiting on. I'd be grateful for some input.

I fell pregnant far more quickly after age 35 than before it.

I just had our third three months before my 38th birthday.

Go for it.
