We have been ttc no2 for a while now. Pretty sure I am not ovulating. GP just tells me that I have to be patient but if I am not ovulating it isn't going to happen and I want to move things along.

TIA

hiya - I think you need to be referred to your local fertility clinic. I have just started down this road, was given an hsg, had my blood tests repeated and i think the next step will be clomid.

Ask your GP to refer you.

Thanks. What is an hsg?

you need to get your GP to refer you to yoru local fertility clinic or expert. i didn't go to my local assisted conception unit as teh gynacologist who i saw was the hospitals chief fertility doctor. there can be a long wait. if you can afford it i would recommend paying privately for the initial consultation (about £150) then get the rest on the nhs. just say from the outset that you can't afford tests etc privately.

hiya

an HSG is an x-ray where they flush a liquid through your tubes (going in at the fanjo) to see how well it travels through - basically to see if there are any blockages.

Though if they can see that you are not ovulating through blood tests they may not do this
