Re. going to GP about ttc - what counts as 12 months ttc? Does a mmc rewind the clock back to the beginning?

Am thinking of going to GP for other reasons and wondering whether to mention ttc. we've been trying since May last year and had a mmc in december after a mc at 4+3 in July (and a chemical pregnancy too, I think, if clearblue wasn't playing tricks on me).

It's six months if you are 35 or over, but it's from when you stopped using contraception.

hmm another couple of years before I get there . Let's hope I don't!

I'm sure you won't. The fact that you are conceiving is excellent - I know the miscarriages are awful (been there myself), but if you can get pregnant, sooner or later one will stick it out.

Suggest you take a look at Zita West's Guide to Getting pregnant to learn about what the GP can do for you and what you can do to optimise your chances as well

I think it is certainly worth seeing the GP.
With 2 MCs and a CP they might refer you to a miscarriage clinic. There are sometimes treatable causes of these things and seeing a specialist might make all the difference.
