Hi all,

AF arrived on Sunday so now if we are successful this cycle and it's as long as this last one baby would be due early December 2009. Anyone else?

Tilly - please don't make me.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 17/03/2009 16:43

Is anyone waiting to test? Come on, ladies, let's get some momentum going!

Bring on the BFPs!!!!!!!!

georgimama · 17/03/2009 17:03

Hi ladies, just checking in. Didn't get down to it very much this cycle, think may have been a bit early for ovulation so I expect I will be cropping up on a January thread soon!

SIl announced her pregancy on Sunday (her second child), last time she did this I was completely devastated, to my shame I actually started crying in front of her but I wasn't at all upset this time, just really happy for her.

NakedInnocence · 17/03/2009 19:27

I'm on CD20 and stuck in the 2ww, t'is driving me mad - it doesn't help that my cycle has been between 28 and 32 days since end October so haven't a clue when I would be classed as late

Somehow don't think I'll be lucky enough to catch in our first cycle but we've gone for it on CD4, CD6, CD8, CD10, CD12, CD14, CD16 and will probably go for it again tonight just in case .

NakedInnocence · 17/03/2009 19:35

georgimama - you should be really proud of yourself (is that an un-mumsnet thing to say ). I'm finding it hard being surrounded by pregnany women at work and I've only just started!

sunshineday · 17/03/2009 19:43

georgimama its good to hear your not upset at sil being pg.

looking forward to hearing about all the BFP's

bluespix77 · 18/03/2009 12:13

Am I mad? This is my first cycle of TTC and I'm now playing the waiting game. Feeling all sorts of weird feelings, for example mild pains/discomfort in my belly area and near my hips on my back. Have also had waves of very mild nuseau for the last week or so. I'm sure they are all in my head!
Am I mad?!?

alfiesmadmother · 18/03/2009 12:57

Blue spix, I had the exact same feelings my last cycle, sick and nausea, extreme tiredness, was convinced I was pg and then gutted when AF arrived.

Woke up panicing this morning. BD Sunday morning and have not since and now on day15, so Sunday was CD13 today is 16. Dh was unwell this morning and we arec onvinced we have missed the boat now but going to try and squeeze one in tonight. Was suprised how upset DH was actually.

Hi. Today is CD23 for me and I still have no sign on my ovulation stick and getting a bit fed up. My period could go up to 39 days so I could possibly ovulate even tomorrow or day after.....I hate my looooooong periods.

zen1980 · 18/03/2009 20:02

Hey everyone,

Just wondered if anyone had any advice, my periods are usually 30-34 days long and am on cd 28 at the moment. Usually ov around day 17 which i did this month, however, felt this week as if ov again and have done a ov test and bright dark lines? How can this be? It is my 2nd month after a mmc so took a but longer than the 30days to get normal af? Please help.

georgimama · 18/03/2009 20:50

It is possible to ovulate twice - you would need to release 2 eggs to get non identical twins after all. I know a girl who is pregnant with twins (did I already mention this, I think I did, sorry!) and they are 1 week apart in gestational age.

skibelle · 18/03/2009 21:19

Please may I join too? Just jumped off the November bus and feeling a bit so need something to focus on!

Zen are you sure you actually ov'd around day 17? You mau have got a positive OPk but it doesn't mean you actually ov'd. Your body might have had another bash later on. Keep at it love!

Post mc cycles are wierd - I think I ov'd this time but it was much later than usual and this is my 1st "proper" cycle.

Hobnobfanatic · 18/03/2009 23:31

Confused here, too. AF is due on Fri or Sat, and I just KNOW she's on her way. I was pretty sure that I ovd on day 12, but looking at my temps, I think it may have been 16/17. I don't have a full month of temps, so it's a bit of guesswork.

I'm sure there should be phDs on TTC - all the detective work and testing that's involved (let alone all the 'practical' assessments required!)

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 19/03/2009 11:38

CD19 for me today. AF due a week tomorrow. I am pretty sure I've not been successful this month, as when I was pg with dd, I remember feeling symptoms, e.g. boobs so sore and heavy that I had to hold them while I walked down stairs, almost immediately after ovulation.

Am a bit gutted. Not sure why really, it's only cycle 1!

Looking forward to our first BFP on here though!

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 19/03/2009 15:19

Don't be so pessimistic.

fatandiknowit · 19/03/2009 15:44

Still no sign of AF

Usually she gets here first thing???

Am trying to keep busy and not think about it - it's very hard!

How's everyone else doing??

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 19/03/2009 15:47

AF due in 8 days. I am trying so hard not to get my hopes up as this is only cycle 1. When are you going to test?

I remember when I was ttc dd, and I knew af was due that day. I was at lunch with my mum and went to the toilet about fifteen million times in an hour.

fatandiknowit · 19/03/2009 15:52

I'm going to leave it until Sunday... my usual cycle length is 24 days, but occasionally AF throws a 26 in there...

Which can be a little frustrating

So I will be saving my pennies and not buying a test until Sunday (in theory) thais could change!

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 19/03/2009 16:14

Grrr, my cycle used to be so regular but it has been 26, 24 and 25 days in the last three months! Oooh, exciting. Your nerves must be shattered!
