Hi
I have been using these since cd 8 but I have yet to see a posiitve however I have been getting a faint line on the test line for the last couple of days where as before I didn,t see anything at all.
Today I again didn,t even see a faint line on the test line.
I have tried to convince myself that despite the instructions saying that the both lines have to be equal or one darker than the other that this could mean a positive but then again ttc has tunred me into a a bit of a loon.
Has anyone found this with these tests.
They are the cheap ones off ebay.
Could a faint line mean a positive despite what the instructions say.

Hi - I have had monitored cycles before and not got a definite positive on OPK. I do usually get an almost positive though, which I take to be my peak. When are you using them? Lunchtime is supposed to be best but hard to not wee/drink for 4 hours first.

Faint lines prob aren't positive because apparently you do always have tiny amounts of LH in your wee - hence the requirement that the test line is the same or darker than the control.

Might be worth continuing to test for a few days. I always get the strongest result mid to late aftermoon - about 4ish. Don't go for a wee for several hours beforehand if you can manage it!

I actually found I ov'd later than I thought - typically day 16 or 17 as oppposed to the day 14 that I thought it was based on my usually 28 day cycle. As soon as I twigged that we got pg the following month although sadly I mc'd.

Hi
I have been using them around 6.00pm.
Its just the fact that I never got as much as a faint line before, but for a couple of days I did thats what makes me think that there could have been a surge.

LOSTITTODAY - im in exactly the same situation, had m/c in Nov and started using OPKs this month. Havent got two dark lines, in fact only one day did i get two lines at all and the second one was fainter. Im on CD 16 of 31 day cycle so il test for another while but if i dont get positive i think il take it that the day of two lines was my positive.
These OPKs are hard to work out and then i wonder how reliable they even are??Good luck with your ttc

oh I meant to say, i also test in the evening and I have read that the best time is lunch time so perhaps we are testing too late in the day and missing the surge. However, theres no way i can test during lunch - im at work and its too difficult!
