Im ttc after a m/c in November. I started using OPKs on day 9. Im now on day 14 of cycle. I realise that you need two lines on OPK with second line as dark or darker than first. My problem is ive only ever got one line on the OPK? One day I had a very very faint second line. What does this mean? By this stage in my cycle (30 days) should I not be at least showing a second line even if its not as dark as other yet.

The first line is just a test line, like a pregnancy test, so it doesn't mean anything other than the fact the test is working.

When are you taking the test? Apparently midday is best (without too much liquid during the morning).

Do you have any other signs of ovulation?

Ive been taking the test about 4,30pm. Though today I took it at 2.30pm.
I think my cm is slighty watery (though it could be classed as sticky) but I dont really know for sure.
Ive also been feeling sharp pains in bottom of tummy which could be ov pains.
I just dont know if we should BD every nite coz fertility friend says ive coming up to fertile time or should we stick to every other nite until i get a positive OPK??

That sounds a bit late in the day, especially if you drink a lot. If it's watery it's usually not happened yet - it needs to be like egg white. Sharp pains do sound like ov pains - for me I used to have them a few days before I actually ovulated.

Definitely stick to every other night. Are you taking temps to chart on fertility friend?

no not taking temps, dont wanna get too obsessed yet!! I think il stick to every other nite and hopefully that will cover us! Thanks for your help!
