Would you bd (quietly) with one of your dcs sleeping in the same room?

I've put this in the conception boards as we're currently ttc #2 after a mc in October. I'm due to ov on Christmas day but we're staying at my mum and dad's so ds (15 months) will be in a travel cot in the same room as us. He's a pretty deep sleeper - I can usually take his dummy out of his mouth without waking him up, often sort out his clothes in his room when he's asleep etc. Anyway, it'll a ttc bd, rather than a rampant lovemakeing with toys and whips, so I thought other ladies who are ttc might understand, or is sex with a sleeping baby in the same room a total no no?

at that age, yes.

Go for it and even if he did wake up he is too young to know what it going on. I personally would feel weirder doing it in my parents house. Can you not have a quickie before you go to your mums??

Yes do it quietly as long as 15 month old has gone to sleep. Have done it with the baby in the same room awake younger than that, but I think 15 months is a bit old to be awake and watching . You could just put a coat on the side of the travel cot that faces the bed for a bit of privacy until the deed is done!

I've had sex at my mum and dad's before, I'm not so worried about that funnily enough, and dh lived in a flat with his mum for years after his mum and dad divorced so he's very good at quiet bding I was just worried ds would be traumatised if he did wake up but of course that's silly, he'd have no idea what he was looking at!
