Is anyone around to hear my crazy question
I almost always hav ea 28 day cycle last month out of all month(we are trying to get pregnant) it was a 23 day cycle!!!! Now I don't know whether I should wait to test to see if I am pregnant going by the 28 day cycle and wait until the 23 days come up seeing hopefully no period (in 2 days) and test myself on the 28th day cycle which would be in7 days to see if I concieved soooooo confused some out ther have some relief for me I have had sleepless nights over this stuff! Please help

Well you could test but even if you get a negative you won't be sure. So - if I was you I would try to wait.

One tip - a friend was having trouble conceiving and was told by a doc to have sex every second day from last day of period to first day of next period. That way it doesn't matter if you ovulate early or late. Good luck!

When you have cycles of varying lengths this is normally caused by ovulation happening earlier or later in your cycle. This is because the "luteal phase" (i.e. the time from ovulation to your period) is normally pretty consistent in length give or take a day, but the time from the first day of your period to ovulation can vary a lot.

If you do not know when you ovulated then the best thing is going to be to wait until your longest normal cycle length 9i.e. 28 days - sorry) has passed and then test if you are still late.
