Has anyone had a negative pregnancy test and then actually been pregnant ?

Yeah i know im clutching at straws on this but i have history of it , negative results not straw clutching ! If my calculations are right i am between one and two weeks late and i did a test and its negative . With my first child i had a false negative early on and it wasnt until i was nearly 12 weeks that i got a positive . I know they are supposed to be 99% accurate though

Yup ds1, first test 3 days late and negative, tested after a week and positive.

3 negative tests-I was pregnant. But this was some years ago.
