TTC again after infertility: were your early pregnancy symptoms the same?

Currently ttc our second baby - it was a long, traumatic road to get our first involving endometriosis diagnosis, major surgery, and a lot of heartbreak and pain.

i knew starting to try again could be triggering but I really underestimated it.

this is our first month ttc and i can tell im going to come on within the next few days, so im obviously gutted (and trying to be rational and realistic).

with my first, my first signs of pregnancy were:

  • very very light rust-coloured bleeding for 2 days over cd 28-30
  • period cramps from cd30 onwards - convinced i was about to come on with no bleeding
  • very vivid dreams
  • lower backache
  • one day of extreme exhaustion around when my period was due
  • tested positive 3 days after my period was due (first test I took - I couldn’t bear any more negatives so I’d stopped testing completely!)

my question for those who have conceived multiple times - how did your very first pregnancy symptom compare?

feel like I’m watching for the exact same symptoms I had before - is that silly or reasonable?

I actually always seem to get the same thing every time I’ve been pregnant as my first ‘symptom’ - watery cm around 7dpo. It seems to be my implantation symptom! That’s 2 successful pregnancies and 2 that have ended in miscarriage. Always the same. The only time I now would test early is if I get that, otherwise I kinda know it’s not happened that cycle. Bar this one I’m just coming to the end of as some pinky cm around 6dpo got my hopes up but I tested yesterday and BFN as usual…
