Could a faint positive OPK during a light period mean anything?

Can someone help and maybe confirm I’m not going mad? So we’ve been ttc for a while. Back in Jan I think I had a chemical pregnancy (had lots of symptoms and the day I plucked the courage to test I got af) and this month I’ve had similar symptoms. Feeling nauseous, little light headed, nervous feeling in my stomach, off food and food tasting a bit off. AF was due yesterday and arrived bang on que however today it’s really light which isn’t usual? I’ve still got nausea etc so for some strange reason I thought I’d use an OPK and I got a faint positive line. So do we think I could be ovulating (cycles are regular and around 26 days) or could this be something else?

This doesn’t suggest you are ovulating, it’s normal for them to have a second line isn’t it? It has to be darker than the control to suggest you are ovulating

Also I don’t think nausea is a symptom of ovulation? You might just be not feeling well

Sorry to hear about your chemical. I think you are overthinking here though. You're not ovulating based on the opk. Did you mean with the nausea etc that you might be pregnant? That's unlikely too... Not sure why your period would be lighter, but having a period most likely means you aren't pregnant.

OPKs have a faint line pretty much all of the month so no it doesn’t mean anything. Women always have a level of LH in their system so that’s why you’ll pretty much always get a slight line. Some women even get a slight surge just before their period.
