I’m freaking out
since Monday I’ve had faint lines on an early detection strip pregnancy tests, but the lines arent getting darker.
i had a mmc in February and I also tested early and the lines got darker each day.
im not due on till Friday so I know it’s still early.
im just freaking out, why can’t I be one of those women that have a positive test and be happy to be pregnant and wait till the 12 week scan.
every day I’m worried

Kindly being this stressed about an early test is not going to help going forward

Try not to feel worried although it’s a long time until the first nhs scan.

if you got a positive that’s great! No need to test again. I am so anxious at 7 weeks pregnant with a previous miscarriage but testing again doesn’t really tell you much.

It’s not really the advice you want to hear but being anxious is ok just tell yourself that nothing you can do will affect the outcome.

I will echo pp and say that the only information a home pregnancy tests tells you is that you are or you are not pregnant, that’s it.

You will know too that you have absolutely zero control over whatever happens regardless of whatever you are reading into this simple little test. There is nothing any one can do.

So enjoy your positive test, know you are at this very minute pregnant. Beyond that is completely out of your hands, perspective is powerful.

Hi OP

i recently got a BFP and feel similar. The line has darkened slightly on one of mine (but was a diff brand) but I still have so much anxiety. I’ve had to stop testing as it was making me panic. I have had to slightly accept that I can’t do anything realistically (except vitamins etc) and accept what will be will be.

i also had a loss last year so understand how triggering it can be and becoming preoccupied with testing and checking the lines but it was starting to make me ill again with anxiety hence why I’ve stopped.

I am in agreement with the other posters that it’s best to stop and try not to worry. I know easier said than done but the best thing you can do for now.
