Been TTC since July, had a couple of months off in the run up to our wedding. We both currently take pregnacare supplements everyday (well he does when he remembers lol). Just had another BFN (due on today so we'll see). I'm 37, he's 39.

I'm due to renew my subscription with amazon for the multivitamin, so seeing if anyone recommends any others that don't cost an arm and a leg?

I’d recommend you both going to the GP for some testing if you haven’t already.
Both try adding coq10 (from Amazon too)

Cheers, that's definitely on our todo list already 👍

Like pp said get the ball rolling with GP or private clinics can run the tests if you have the means. I have heard anecdotally women conceiving when they take Sudafed, I don’t suppose it can do any harm taking it around ovulation.

Been to the GP. Been diagnosed with PCOS and need to lose weight/lower my cholesterol. Joys.

I have PCOS and high cholesterol- I really recommend taking Ovasitol - it’s an inositol supplement - combined with a low GI (not low carb) diet. Also check your vitamin D levels. It worked for me x

Ugh deleted my reply before because it had an amazon link 😆

I've started trying to incorporate low gi meals into my diet already, diabetes is hereditary in my family so I'd like to do everything I can to avoid it.

Ovasitol is too expensive unfortunately so I've orded some novomins inositol gummies (40:1 ratio apparently) to try and we'll see how it goes.

GP has suggested Metformin but I'm going to ask to be referred to an endcrinologist first so we can see exactly what's going on. Especially as my TSH levels are on the high side too (but still within the normal range) and my iron and B12 on the low-normal side despite taking multivitamins everyday.

It sounds like you’re doing everything you can :) it took a few months for me to notice changes but consistency does pay off. I’m not 100% consistent with diet but I’d say 80% of the time I eat low GI and get my steps in and that seems to be enough for me

-sigh- It looks like it may be both of us. Both have GP appointments soon. DH may need to have another test done to confirm (we think we were just outside the window when we had sex but not 100% sure 😂)
