Hello!
I’ve been trying to track my ovulation with the easy@home LH strips, but I’m really struggling to find my peak or even a high T/C ratio at all! I’m thinking about switching to the Clear Blue digital ovulation tests, but just wondered what others thought about the clear blue tests and if they were any good/easier for finding your most fertile days?

TIA :)

Are you using the easy at home ones with the free version of the premom app? I found all my peaks with this.

@Sillysoggyspaniel yeah that’s what I’ve been using, so these were my tests last months cycle, I had progesterone test at my GP on CD 21 which came back at 23 nmol, then AF showed on 13th Nov

@Sillysoggyspaniel then I was so confused this current cycle because my period was only 2 and a half days long, which isn’t the normal for me, the app tells me not to start testing until a few days time, but I tested on CD 8 and this is what I’ve had this cycle so far

So you're testing twice a day which is great as often people miss their peak by just testing once a day. I don't think the test are the issue - the lighting and the timing is roughly the same, I think there's not a peak there. Which is pretty disheartening. How many months have you been tracking your LH?

@Sillysoggyspaniel this month will be cycle 6, back in 2023 I had 2 miscarriages at 5-6weeks, one in February and one in June, then in April 2024 we had another miscarriage at 7-8weeks, we found out the cause of this one was Triploid syndrome, we took a long break to go through testing with the NHS recurrent miscarriage fertility clinic, the only thing that stood out with the test results was that I have sticky blood condition, which they think might have caused the first two early losses, so when I do get pregnant again I need to be on baby aspirin, blood thinning injections and progesterone. My thyroid antibodies also came back 3x higher than they should be, which indicated my thyroid may go under active so I was having that checked every 6 months, I noticed a difference in my body regarding my cycles from June when we started TTC again, along with other thyroid symptoms, so when I had my test done in September, it came back slightly under active at 4.59, thankfully my GP agreed to put me on 25mg levothyroxine, I was retested this month and it has gone down to 2.6, so the medication is working, I have an appointment with my fertility clinic next month to discuss a few things that are concerning me and to talk options. Sorry for the long message haha, I haven’t had anyone to talk to about any of this, I find it hard to talk to family or friends about it all

That's great your thyroid hormone is coming down and responding, I think you want to be under 2.5 when trying to conceive so you're really close. So sorry you've had such a tough time,.trying to conceive is shit.

SunshineAndRainbow37 · 22/11/2025 21:18

@Sillysoggyspaniel yeah, my GP wasn’t going to give me the medication because they tried to say that it was fine being slightly over, even though I told them how crucial it was that it was under 2.5 for Ttc and for being pregnant, I won the fight in the end and got it at least hahah. It is so shit, it’s just draining the life out of me, hopefully not much longer!🤣
