Pregnancy after Pregnancy unknown location

Hi, I’ve also posted this on pregnancy forum but posting here in hopes of a reply, just looking for some advice and reassurance really. About 7 weeks ago I had an early loss (around 5/6 weeks) I was under hospital care due to having bad pains for a week, hcg bloods were done every 48 hours and were only increasing very slightly and with nothing at all on scans was treated as a pregnancy of unknown location / suspected ectopic, after a week hcg began to decline and I began bleeding, final bloods confirmed everything had came away. Anyway 6 weeks later ( a week ago today ) I had a positive test again, I felt off so had a feeling. I’ve had one period after the loss which was just over 4 weeks ago so things are still very early days. However the last few days I’ve been having quite strong period type cramps on and off and just don’t feel great, also very anxious after what’s happened, would it be worth speaking to my gp yet and seeing whether they would offer some bloods or anything? Not sure whether to just wait and see how things go but just worried that the risk is increased due to how quickly I fell pregnant again. But at the same time don’t want to go bothering them if there’s not much point. Thank you x

Know this is a few days old. What did you decide to do?
You can go to the doctors for a blood test but they probably won't want to do more than 1 to confirm that you are actually pregnant and have hcg in your system
Unfortunately the period like cramps are also pretty common and normal in a viable pregnancy too.
If you've been having no other symptoms to indicate a mc or an ectopic there isn't much anybody will want to do for you quite yet as most epus won't even consider looking until you're 5 weeks if not 6 weeks along
However, I would suggest calling the epu to try to book in a reassurance scan to confirm location of pregnancy when you should be about 5 or 6 weeks.
Or, if you can afford it, go privately but be aware you may not see much of anything before 6 weeks and that could cause extra stress!
