I did this test yesterday morning and it came back like this however today I did a digital one first thing and it states not pregnant? I’m 11 days away from my period (I track religiously!) and I have been feeling off the last few days with headaches, cramps and slightly nauseas

Evap or positive?

How many dpo are you? If you’re still 11 days away from your period it’s likely too soon to test (should be at least 10 dpo)

By 11 days away from period do you mean it’s due in 11 days, or 11 days late?

If due in 11 days it’s FAR too early to be testing, pointless.

If 11 days late then the digital will be the accurate result.

That looks like an evap to me.

11 days from your period is too early for a positive. Most people at that stage of their cycle would barely have ovulated.

You say you track your cycle religiously but do you track ovulation? How long are your cycles normally?

If you take someone with a 28 day average cycle, with ovulation on day 14, if they are still 11 days from their period they’d only be 3 days past ovulation and the embryo wouldn’t even be developed enough at that point to implant.

So if you know when you ovulate you can determine at what point you can take a test. It takes a fertilised embryo 5 days to develop enough to start implanting. So the EARLIEST it can start implanting is 6dpo. But normally more like 7-10dpo. Then it takes your body a couple of days to produce enough HCG hormone to show up on a test. This is normally between 8-12dpo earliest. Which is why the tests you can buy normally say you can only use a test at the earliest 6 days before your period.

Most luteal phases are never more than 14 days, regardless of how long your cycle is. Unless you’re contending with other factors; I’m not sure how it works for PCOS etc.

As difficult as it is, I'd wait until the day you're due your period and test again. I only say that because that actually looks a bit too pigmented to me to be an evaporation line... My phone is on the lowest brightness and I can still see it.

If in doubt on the day you're next due, I'd take a digital test that has the words with the result rather than the lines! :)

I think that test is positive but as you are testing so early not all tests pick it up yet. Wait for a few more days.
