How often to have sex?

My DH and I are ttc first time and it’s coming up to my fertile window. How often should we be having sex? He’s under the impression that we should every other day or every 2 days as apparently it takes this long to “replenish” his bank so to speak, but I’ve never heard this before.

I thought every day increases the chances. What’s everyone else’s advice? Thank you x

If you've just come off contraception then sex twice a week plus an extra bonus shag when you notice ovulation mucus is plenty.

Honestly every 1-2 days is fine. Can depend on sperm quality - apparently for smog people daily is fine, but men with low sperm count/concentration might want to do every other day to replenish sperm. Apparently more than once a day loses affect again because of how long it takes for sperm to mature
