Hello everyone!

Just wanted to join as we are currently TTC cycle 1!

My cycles have been all over the place since coming off the pill last year but the last four have been somewhat regular (30-36 days).

I'm on D25 and had my peak yesterday, DTD yesterday and day before, plus going to again tonight!

Wooahhh catching up and see 2 bfps!! This is amazing.

@LookForTheLiightim on the evening of 9DPO and only DTD once 2 days before ovulation (day before my peak) and thats it...im just hoping and praying the line becomes more visible tomorrow and the day after, when do you think a digital would show positive- Want to test and surprise DH if all is okay

im 8DPO today, spotting has stopped, just got that really heavy feeling, you know the one you get just before AF and a bit of a twingey feeling if I suck my stomach in..very weird, imagine if this turns out to be nothing, I’ll have been the queen of symptom spotting then!

Cough syrup worked for me too! 😆

So sorry, chemicals are so disheartening 😞
I had one in February with odd spotting. By my expected AF date the pregnancy test was clear and it took 8 days for my AF to fully start and I counted that as day 1. I had two very long cycles after with intermittent spotting around ovulation which I never get- I am sure this was related to the chemical.
I know people often discourage early testing, but if I didn’t, I would have been so confused for months.

how long did your spotting last? I had about 5 days of on and off spotting. Nothing when I wipe at the min but it’s been coming and going. Just pink & just when I wipe.

Google seems to think 5 days is too long for implantation. 😣

@Iwishyoutoknow thank you, this is really helpful information. AF still hasn't arrived and spotting brown again today. Hopefully it doesn't mess my cycle up too much 🤞🏻

Having a bit of a strange cycle, spotted for about a week from 10th June then turned into a proper AF for another week!
I then had an LH peak for roughly 24 hours from Friday, only 3 days after AF finished and it's dropped back down. Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday as I had some mild cramping so counting today as 1DPO!
Fingers crossed for this next month 🙏

@peanutForeverwow congrats that’s amazing news i’m so happy for you! I wanna try the cough syrup thingy do you just take it when you think you’re ovulating? Also which pomegranate an beetroot juice brand did u drink or did you make it yourself? :)

@am44ai used boots guafenesin for chesty coughs and yes coming up to my fertile window and think i stopped when i got my peak (but it was just because i knew we werent going to DTD anymore- it was so hot)

pomegranate juice was just asdas own 100% and beetroot juice was james wright beet it organic juice. I think it was more the cough syrup as it helps sperm survive

also just wanted to ask took some 10ul one steps and the line is vvvvvvfl how long before you think it will show on there, i know FRER is 6ul and i only tested last night but it would be reassuring for it not to look negative on other tests, do you think tomo would do it? Crazy i had zero symptoms - pre-period ones boobs are slightly sore and i have a massive spot but this morning ive woekn up with lots of cramping...hoping all is well 😭

Good morning all. Some of you may remember me from the March to May threads. It's bittersweet to see some familiar usernames still here.

I got my BFP in May and dropped off the thread. I kept up with the following threads to keep track of all your journeys as I really wanted to see more BFPs. We went for a private scan in June where sadly I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum. The gestational sac was measuring correctly but there was no embryo or yolk sac. I contacted my EPU and they booked us in for a follow-up scan the following week. We both got Covid (we were so sick, horrible dose) and had to postpone. So nearly two weeks after first finding out it was all confirmed. I opted for medical management this time as I didn't want surgery again following my MMC in January. I suppose I never imagined having to make this decision again only four months later.

I took the tablets over the weekend and it was all totally manageable. I have to test negative within three weeks. They advised one cycle before trying again, if I want to. I've been referred to the RCM as in Ireland you can be referred when you've had two consecutive losses. But I can TTC again and if I get a BFP EPU will see me at 6/7 weeks and scan me and start me on progesterone.

So after all that is it ok if I join you all again? 😂
