@am44a I can see a shadow on this. As it's not definitive, I think retesting right now won't bring you anymore clarity and will only add to your anxiety. It's difficult but wait 2 more days and retest. By that stage the line should get darker if HcG is present. I hope it does get darker for you x

I'd get a FRER if you can! Are you normally late? Are those strips in date? 🤞🏻

Yeah they’re in date tbh the past year my cycles have been awful average was 34 days longest was 38 days:/ but since around march i’ve been quite regular (30-31ish days)

I’m undecided if I should go out an get another test 😬Can you see the faint line in the picture x

This is what i’m thinking I did that test 7am yesterday morning but even so it would probably be too faint and a waste of £10:/ I have to go out anyway right now so will be hard to avoid that isle haha🥲x

Do you know how many DPO you are? Sorry if I missed it. I can see a shadow I think. If that was yesterday morning on a cheapie strip, I'm pretty sure a frer will tell you clearer if positive.

I saw this on the other thread but haven’t replied yet, I don’t think they look like the evaps I’ve seen but only ever seen them on mumsnet! I am keeping everything crossed for you. It does seem too unlikely to be true xx

Im due around 16th July and ill do my very best to not test until the 17th July but I'll probably cave and test around 12 dpo lol

I’m on cd21 and between 5-7dpo. I had some spotting yesterday and the day before. I’m now worrying that was actually my ovulation and I missed it. My DH is away until Monday and we didn’t dtd since cd16 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 ffs! But if I ovulated cd19/20 then it probably wouldn’t be likely anyway I guess with such a short luteal phase? Oh I don’t know!!

@DorsetGirl89 my heart goes out to you. I can't think of anything helpful to suggest... literally all you can do is wait and see! So maddening! I wish we could trust these bloody tests ffs!!

Can't find who posted earlier about spotting but I'm in a similar pickle now. What do you guys make of this: I'm on CD16, have been testing LH since CD10. Absolutely nada showing up, seems weird, I thought must have not ov'd yet but peak was CD12 last two cycles (never tested LH properly before that). Today I've had heavy spotting / light bleeding, brown. Not normal for me. I'm wondering if actually I could have ov'd before CD10 and be implanting today?! So that would make me like 8DPO or 9DPO. It's possible right?!

I’m not sure on dpo as i’ve been on holiday for most of this cycle so tried to not obsess as much as I usually do. I just done a clear blue though and it was negative:( I think if I was pregnant it would show by now so guess i’m out yet again:/

Hiya. From loads of research the highly reccomemded it Ubiquinio, Vit D and Vit C for women and men. Can add Maca root for men also.
I used that last time when TTC DS1 and after 3 cycles got pregnant. That and doing BBT with Opks snd Sperm meets egg programme.

CD 17 today and I had cramping last 2 days. With FCM so hopeful something happens. Still nursing so not sure.

With my last 2 DC is tested at 12DPO 1st and 2nd DC I tested at 9DPO.

I am also waiting! I think I just O. But I am CD17 Breast feesing so my cycles vary from 32 days to 47days! Last 3 cycles have been 32/33 days so hoping this month is the same.

A short Folicular phase with O means the lining hasn't had time to properly build up. It is possible but not the ideal environment and the hormones need longer to build up.

hey ladies just wanted your experiences

ive had four pregnancies all conceived on the first cycle when i was 28/29/30 (one on bc) and ive just turned 34 and were in the third month of ttc. I dont understand why im not pregnant yet?

i have a horrendous period spot this month and tested bfn this morning so know im out...im literally so sad, i dont know why its taking longer (i know im older but i thought 3/4 months and wed see a positive). Ive done everyting right this time taking vitamins etc. We actually only have one DC so i expect it will take longer (if i have mcs etc again) but im prepared for that (been through therapy etc) im so down today as i just feel like j waited to long to try for DC2 and now its not happening

My feeling when this happens is it’s more likely to be early chemicals than Evaps? And if we didn’t test we wouldn’t know! I’ve had this a couple of times, particularly if you’ve got w VVVFL on more than one test or brand. Also hcg can fluctuate early on so hope not lost. It’s a massive headfuck though!!

I’ve posted a separate post about this but I can’t work out ovulation this cycle. Had drawn out LH (over 3 days to gradually peak and now it’s coming down really slow), and no temp shift. My cycles are usually quite textbook to read from BBT chart and OPK so wonder if my body has tried to ovulate and failed. Meant to be taking progesterone again but can’t until confirmed ovulation so I’m kind of in limbo!

@Muddysocks1 yeah I think it's a chemical, they weren't evaps. Spoke to my GP and she thinks it aligns, but wants me in for bloods on Monday. She's told me that the chances of conceiving a healthy pregnancy seem to go up in the 3 months following a chemical pregnancy, so that's given me some hope. I felt like it was my fault for doing too much exercise around implantation (not deliberately, I was just very busy) but she said it's usually a chromosomal abnormality when it's so early and it just wasn't a viable embryo and it happens way more than people think. That's made me feel a little better ❤️ so hard to not get attached though. Next month I won't test early, but to be fair I knew before I got those faint lines anyway, so I'll still be anxious next cycle if I get the symptoms 😞

Oh @peanutForever my heart really goes out to you. It's difficult to say anything that will give you clarity as our bodies are all so different and there could be a multitude of reasons that mean its taking longer this time that has nothing to do with age or that might indicate a future problem.

Allow yourself to feel any disappointment and sadness today, and then, go again. It's a really tough mental battle, but I hope we're able to celebrate with you really soon.

I got pregnant the first cycle with my son, 9 years ago now. And then thought conceiving a second would be easy. Tried pretty much for three years and nothing. I thought I couldn't have any more, thought there must have been something after my c section that meant it was impossible now... But, here I am! Currently pregnant.

I like to think of the burnt toast theory here... It feels like a disaster, but maybe it's just taking you on a path/route to something amazing.

@Taysonicthanks i just worry about egg quality etc and DH is a smoker but yeh we cant try next cycle as he has a shoulder operation scheduled, i just really wanted to be pregnant this cycle and im bummed as i feel absolutely nothing and scared its gna take us really long- ive had blood tests etc before ttc and lost some weight (really hard for me imagine 6months on weight loss injections just to lose 20lb only! Then 3 months off before ttc which is insane) gained half of it back already due to metabolic issues...so seems like its been a year of prep, i know im being impatient but i just feel shittier and shittier as the months go on!!

@hollyhocks2 think it was probably me, I’m CD22 now, 7 DPO, had a bit of brown discharge yesterday then it stopped, went to the toilet this morning and there was nothing so thought it’d stopped, just been and there was quite a heavy amount of pinkish blood, now seems to have stopped again. So odd because I would never just have a 7 day luteal phase, but also wtf 😄 I’ve no idea how heavy implantation bleeding could be, so not sure if it’s that or a weirdly incredibly early period!

@hollyhocks2 its possible you missed your peak and it's also possible you did ov earlier than you think. Could be early implantation. Same with you @LuckyDuck93 Have you felt any other symptoms? I remember feeling a plucking sensation & it was so odd for me that it startled me. But not everyone feels that sensation so it's absence means nothing! 🤞 You both get a line in few days time.

@am44a im sorry that you tested BFN last night. You're not out yet. Try to hold off testing for a day or so x
