funnily enough just had the gp call about fertility testing, going to arrange bloods, ultrasound & semen analysis, I expected a bit of a battle so very happy about how easy it was

@LuckyDuck93 i had brown spotting before that I just assumed was my period starting. It was very light and I popped a tampon in. It never filled a tampon, lasted about 2 days. Got my BFP few days. I tested because the spotting hadn't progressed to anything else. Let us know how you get on!

@ChaE05 yes, got it yesterday. Bd yesterday evening and plan today and tomorrow too. I know you're not supposed to look at the line on the CB but I didn't think it looked super dark yesterday morning but still got the static. I have an old pink holder in the drawer so might test on that next 2 days to see the line.

@LuckyDuck93 last time I was pregnant I had spotting before AF was due and I was completely convinced I was out. I only tested because we were going to the pub!

And @Muddysocks1 I know!! We are mid-renovation but still! Paint can wait 🤦‍♀️

I’ve found wondfo terrible recently - the test line almost has a reflective strip on it until it’s fully dry so half convinces you there’s a line developing when it isn’t! I’ve actually been using the yellow Premom ones for the first time this cycle and have found them to be the best. I’ve not had any shadows/evaps. I tested at 8DPO and was very obvious BFN, not even a hint of anything even before it was fully dry. Then 9DPO had a vvfl that had colour and was definitely a BFP as it’s now a lot more obvious at 11DPO. I’d definitely use these again!

@ChaE05 just tested with a pink holder that has been in the drawer. Instant static smiley!

Cycle 5 here also! (Although one of them wasn’t a proper try) trying for our second, have an 8 year old daughter.

ah that’s lovely about the small age gap. It took my husband all this time to be ‘ready’ for the second 😅 hoping we didn’t leave it too late. I got some private bloods done just to check where I am as nearing 40

@GreenApple121 I totally get that because I'm turning 33 in august but already feel less fertile compared to 31 😂
did you already get your results or are you still waiting?
Men always take a bit longer 😂hubby also wanted to wait initially this time because he said i would fall pregnant straight away now i'm glad we started trying 5 months ago...

@GreenApple121thanks i believe it all went well, I have my update next week with it. I wasn't allowed to try or anything for 2 weeks post surgery

@Ec2808 yes I think they don’t get the bodyclock that well 😅 we got pregnant with our daughter first try so think he also thought it would happen again, despite me saying that it’s not super likely as we are few years down the line!
waiting for the results still, a bit nervous about it!

yes I'm using OPKs I didn't last month and it drove me nuts not knowing where I was in my cycle 😂how about you?
also got an apple watch that measures my wrist temp during the night so will be nice to see if that can also help me confirm when I ovulated

@Ec2808 @GreenApple121haha my partner and I had a bet on as he didn't believe me that itll take longer. He has a daughter from a previous relationship and it happened from one accident! So I owe him a carton of beer if its before 6 months lol!
