@FlyHighSky72 yeah think that’s a good idea! My Partner has recently been tested and his results were good so I feel a little better. That being said it’s not happened this month again so I am really frustrated! I agree, we’ve requested to be referred to the NHS fertility specialist already which was done by our GP this week. I’m hoping and feel confident we won’t need it (putting positivity out there 😂) but if I have it in my back pocket I feel like I’m doing all I can. I hate the feeling of not being in control. I don’t have any children no but had two terminations about 18 and 15 years ago and two chemicals lately. I know it is expensive, I’m really tempted though.

@Muddysocks1 I know right. I’m losing hope it’s just really hard. Did you have to have a consultation before you had your microbiome tested?

@Muddysocks1 it’s really mad that you’ve taken progesterone and it’s almost negative now. So that shows this isn’t a progesterone issue surely? Have you spoken to the GP about weak ovulation and treating that? The specialist I saw a couple of years ago wouldn’t prescribe progesterone, he said it wasn’t targeting the actual issue and wouldn’t achieve pregnancy. Maybe your egg needs little help when maturing?

Nope just did the test on my own, I actually did it once, tried probiotics to see if they helped (they didn’t) and tested again around the time I’d booked consultation

Yeah - from what I’ve read it’s mixed as to whether progesterone works. I feel like maybe it is the ovulation, because i didn’t ovulate the day after LH surgery as expected and my leading follicle was a bit small on the scan that day, so wonder if that’s the issue

@Muddysocks1 I’ve just booked it and paid for it using your code and it saved me £20 so thank you! It’s worth knowing, and like you say sometimes there’s more you don’t know and need antibiotics. Did you get another test to see if it went? Can you still TTC while taking the antibiotics and did they prescribe for your partner too?

@Muddysocks1 yeah I would say just based on the few stories I’ve heard from friends with low progesterone that it’s an ovulation enhancing drug they needed and not the progesterone. When the ovulation issue was sorted the progesterone top care of itself

@Muddysocks1do you continue to test lh after your peak? I wonder if you are ovulating later and then having a short LP?

Urgh. I wish this wasn’t so all consuming. I want to ‘accidentally’ forget where I’m at in my cycle. Why can’t I be one of those people who’s like ‘oh wait - I just realised my period is a week late?!’ 🫣

Technically we started trying back in August/Sep and concieved 3rd cycle, but this ended in MC in January. We've been on a break since. This was our first cycle trying again. We did concieve our son first cycle but being that much older now, I wasn't expecting it to be quick again!
I feel a bit apprehensive to get excited yet, after our loss.

You’re welcome! The dr told me I didn’t need to retest, but I probably will in a few months to see how it is. Yes they prescribed for both me and partner, you have to treat both because it is sexually shared and otherwise you won’t get rid of it. The particular thing that flagged up on mine was ureaplasma, and you can get a prescription online for doxycycline (for anti malaria pre travel or chlamydia) from online pharmacies, but not sure about other bacteria’s.
So I read online that you should abstain from unprotected sex during the antibiotics course, luckily I picked them up the day after ovulation so we abstained for a week but would have been annoying over fertile window. You can still TTC generally but not the week of antibiotics

I did a little bit, I could have ovulated layer but I had a temp shift so I feel pretty confident about ovulation day. I wonder if it’s a chemical whether my cycle might be shorter (usually 13 days), but then I’m also on progesterone so that might delay bleeding. It’s all so confusing really 🙈

My head been all over the place today. I did a test this morning at possibly 11DPO after having more tinged CM and BFN 😔 I went downstairs and cried to my DP. I just couldn’t stop 😩 I’ve got cramps now this evening and know AF is near!

Currently 10dpo. Period due Wednesday. I'm holding out testing until Tuesday!
Anyone else still holding? This is the first month I haven't, as the daily BFNs are just too much x

@ChaE05 still holding out AF also due Wednesday but going to test tomorrow!!!! How’s your LH levels and BBT been looking have you still been tracking? Congrats to all those who’ve had their BFP!!!

Guys would you/have you informed your GP of chemicals? Not sure if it’s pointless, or if it’s useful for future referrals. My last chemical was noted in my notes but only as a I had a prebooked appt about fertility. Don’t need to be seen or any treatment but just not sure about for records.

@Muddysocks1maybe you should mention it.. It would be useful for a future referral to recurrent mc clinic i think, but down the line (lets hope you never need it) if you were to get fertility treatment i dont see why it would hinder things?

@ForGiddyDreamer and @2Sugars2 just checking in as we're on the same DPO - I felt a bit low today thinking I didn't feel pregnant but then realised implantation could easily not even have happened yet. I feel tired and a bit grumpy, I guess I've got the usual luteal phase hormones to thank. When will you test? I'm thinking Tuesday but only because of GP appt. It's not a very good reason, more an excuse 🙃

@Muddysocks1 once I started bleeding I went to EPU so it went on my records that way, ie letter from EPU to GP. In your shoes I would want it recorded one way or another. But you're ahead of where I was at that point. I do still hope you're going to be miraculously proved wrong ❤️

@hollyhocks2 Same here with low mood. I had some light cramping today but I'm terribly bloated so think it's digestive related. My flo app was predicting AF on Thursday but has now changed to Friday. We're heading to my parents for a long weekend for a family thing & leaving on Thursday so I intend to test before we take off. Will try to hold out until Wednesday ( I booked a hair appointment that day so will least get to treat myself). Fingers crossed for a line on Tuesday 🤞

hi ladies! Very emotional today too.. cd22 but no clue how many dpo… did check my bbt yesterday morning and it was 36.61 so deff luteal phase temperature for me just have not been checking daily this month..took a test this afternoon feel like i could see a shadow but don’t want to get my hopes up again like i did with the fluke first response test…😔 what a cycle…

@ChaE05 @Ash2345f AF due Tuesday for me. I’m holding off testing for logistical reasons rather than having any self control! I definitely feel AF brewing though… 😣

AF coming for me. Urgh so fed up! On to cycle 7… feels like it’s never going to happen and I am just so worried despite tests coming back good that there’s something preventing it from happening. Maybe it’s time and I need to be more patient. I am just scared of hitting December and still not being pregnant…. That literally is such a fear I have, I know if we get there my mental state will be shot to bits. 🫣🫣🫣

Morning... thanks for the check in. Well my zombie like tiredness has finally gone and had a super productive weekend which has kept my mind from wandering. I don't know if I will test... my AF is due on Thurs according to premom. I don't feel any different at all & I don't know if I want to see another bright white bfn 🫠
